So which QB did you want in this past draft? You seem to have an agenda. You seem angry that Allen played well and the Bills won. I am just not seeing where you are coming from. Is winning not enough? You sound like Schopp. Just because our QB doesn't have 70% completion and 400 yards with 4 TDs doesnt mean we as fans shouldn't be happy with what we all saw from Allen on Sunday. Try to just enjoy it and not be so angry.

Right. It's like some fans are legit pissed that some other fans have the audacity to enjoy one sliver of an NFL season with our favorite team. Some people just wake up mad.

But here's the thing...you can't play the "take the such and such away". If you do that you have to reverse ALL things (penalties that negated good throws, drops, etc). You mention over reaction to his last game...that's the point I am making with his "inaccuracy issues". Oberblown. Exactly. Good point. Its like saying well take Brady away and the Pats suck...yes that is true lol. But they DO have Brady and Allen did rush for those yards.

I still don't think completion percentage is a great measure of accuracy....its a GREAT measure of the percentage of passes thrown that were completed. It doesn't account for throw aways, drops, receiver/QB miscommunications, etc. I think Allen's accuracy has been fine for the most part. He skips some or overthrows when he seems to be over excited but he doesn't appear to be as fundamentally inaccurate of a passer as many LOVED to say leading up to the draft (it was Allen's "Fitz played at Harvard"). It wouldn't surprise me if many pundits dont actually watch Bills games and just check box scores....8 of 19? Traaassshhhhh

The weird part was that Jackson was fired...he didn't quit and sign on with a rival. I guess he is never allowed to work again!

Not to sound like McDermott but we will probably have to see the tape to see how often he prematurely escaped the pocket. I think based on the eyeball test he did great and did what he had to do to win the game. I loved his game today. I think with a few more pieces on the line and in the WR corps Allen will be even better.

Agreed, unfortunately. The irony is that the NFL wants more O and scoring but doesnt seem to crack down on refs with itchy trigger fingers.

This was a fun game for a bit, but it looks to be getting out of hand. I would def like to see a rematch in the SB though

The Bosas seem to have bad Genes for injuries. Both Bosas missing substantial time over the last couple of years. Injuries happen but seems kinda odd that both brothers are injured. Probably crazy talk but seems like an interesting aside.

I actually agree with you that there appeared to be a sense of mild outrage that Tyrod was benched "because he was black" over the white QB. Even Tyrod went to that well a few times. BUT...I do not in any way agree that Peterman deserves a better shot. He was given ample opportunity and he screwed the pooch.

I for one love the D this year. I think saying #1 D can be misleading is all. I certainly dont take anything away from the D this year. Imagine if they were awful along with the mostly awful O. Yikes.

For whatever reason on pre-game shows, ESPN, etc. they always refer to the yardage leaders as #1 Defense, Offense, etc. While, it is true the Bills D may be #1 in yardage allowed, they are not really anywhere near that in points allowed. While yardage can be an indicator of a D's abilities, points win games. Limiting points seems to be the best stat to lead in if your are a Defense. My take anyway. For what its worth, ESPN stats show the Bills D 19th in points allowed at 25.1 points per game. Tennessee is #1 giving up 16.8 ppg. If I had my choice I would give up yards all day to have the #1 scoring defense (especially considering our O's struggles).

Agreed. I was more just making the general point about which stat I believe better correlates to a "good" D. I think if the O this year was just average on a consistent game to game basis this D would likely be top 3 in points allowed. Games seem to get away from them late after the O continues to do nothing.
