I agree with this save for the Pats game...but as we are seeing this year, the Pats D is making everyone look silly. I really like the trajectory Allen seems to be on. No idea if it will pan out but there are encouraging signs of growth.

Bummed to not get the Fox late game, Car vs. 49ers. Could be a good game. For the late game Pats vs. Browns...I smell another blowout for the Pats

I'm far less worried about Brady these days and way more concerned about Belichick ever retiring. I think he can coach just about any group of players into at the very least the playoffs and most likely beyond. This Pats D doesn't appear to be going away any time soon.

My original comment was in regard to the fact that the Eagles may now be super duper motivated. I agree they were likely very motivated to win tonight but now they are super duper motivated and that makes me very scared in my pants.

This was my thought as well. They should be desperate. I hope the Bills are more settled and prepared than the first 3 quarters today. Going to need a good game next week.

I think you are overvaluing the contribution to the on-field product that Brandon would have had with the current Beane/McDermott team. I firmly believe, while Russ Brandon would likely be around based on his continued failing upward, but I don't think he would have had much of a hand in drafting, free agency, etc. I think Beane/McDermott have a firm grasp on the control of the organization. That is all I was saying.

Not sure why you put "smart" in quotations lol. Anyway, I said the current regime...i.e. 2017 and onward...and I mentioned defense in response to letting Gilmore walk. I don't know why people seem to link the current regime and ownership with those of the last 15 or 20 years...a LOT of new people.

Or it could be that this regime has shown a great ability to develop defensive talent and think to themselves why pay through the roof when we can develop another guy. Its actually pretty smart.
