  1. So what would you like to discuss bud? I'm all for adult tables (whatever that is).
  2. How do you know I didn't? Also, good self awareness on outing yourself as one of the malcontents. May the Force Be With You (never much of a Star Trek guy...seemed super nerdy to me) I guess you are? I don't even know who you are and never mentioned you in my post...so, not sure. And I don't believe the post of mine that you latched onto like a lamprey qualifies as "rambling". Carry on.
  3. It's hard to argue with people who have already resigned themselves to a position. There are many "fans" here that will never like Allen, plain and simple. Not sure what it is. They all "like" each others posts so it's easy to spot them lol. Some people just want to be upset as fans; maybe because it's all they have known during their fanhood and might be nervous to give in and just enjoy the ride for fear of getting hurt again. Who knows!
  4. I actually live in Rome, so it's all day, everyday over here.
  5. It's my cross to bear. But I do my best.
  6. Thank you! I ALSO have a HUGE intuition.
  7. You knew Miller had the virus? That is impressive intuition.
  8. I like the brown tops, white bottoms. I like contrast in uniforms. Part of the reason I have never liked color rush. Or even the blue-on-blue, non-color-rush-color-rush unis the Bills use. No way I think we are perennial SB contenders, but I do think we are heading that way if Allen continues his progress arc similar to year 1 to year 2.
  9. Ohhhh the old "backing in" argument. We made it. If that Bengals game had been earlier in the year, our week 17 game would have been win-and-in, which we did. The Bills are clearly a team on the rise, while the Browns are destined for disaster with their current ownership. And congratulations on beating us last year, that is a quality win for sure, against a 10-win playoff team. Likely the feather in the Browns' cap for the 2019 season. Anyway, the Bills have done impressive things with their organization in recent years, from overhauling the roster, to completely changing the culture, to creating the expectation of winning. While the Browns have created the continued expectation of "Browns gonna Browns"
  10. Except that the Bills have made the playoffs twice in the last three years and the Browns haven't made it in 17 seasons. The Bills had their similar drought obviously, but we don't suck now and we've had relevance in the last 30 years while the Browns only relevance in the past 30-odd years are stories about the back of the Cheesecake Factory.
  11. As a kid, for some reason, I always thought the old bucking bronco in the letter "D" was a unicorn lol. Wishful thinking I guess.
  12. Points allowed and 3rd down efficiency I think are pretty good indicators.
  13. I like them. I always liked the odd pairing of brown and orange. But I also like the Broncos and Bucs old unis so I might not know what I'm talking about.
  14. Well if this is all true, speaking as the acting GM of the Chargers, I'm a little worried as we drafted him 6th overall
  15. I don't know how to embed a YouTube vid, but my contribution is "Lateralus" by Tool. Edit: I guess I or my computer just became self aware.
  16. Don't ruin the fantasy MAN! But, yeah, agreed, it seems 100% speculation on what a trade COULD look like. Not so much of a report on talks commencing between the teams.
  17. With the 7th pick of the 3rd round the Chargers select Ezra Cleveland, OT, Boise State. We were happy to see the Dolphins pass on Ezra with the 6th pick of this round. We addressed the offensive line in free agency but we feel the added offensive line depth is important and that Ezra will develop into a starter on our line in the coming seasons. @Logic is on the clock.
  18. I agree 100% that offensive tackles and corners are important. But we are returning our O-line and I have full confidence in this front office to find defensive diamonds in the rough in later rounds. Depending on what other players were on the board at the time of the Bills' actual pick in real life, I wouldn't mind if they went WR with the 2nd.
  19. Passing league. Would make sense.
  20. With the 5th pick of the 2nd round, the Chargers select Jonathan Taylor, RB, Wisconsin. With free agency several needs were filled and at this time we are going BPA. With the loss of Melvin Gordon, we feel this works as both taking BPA and filling a team need. We feel we now have both our QB and RB of the future. The Carolina Panthers @Kirby Jackson are on the clock
  21. @Virgil With the 6th pick in the draft the Chargers select Tua (can't spell his last name), QB, Alabama. EDIT: Sorry forgot my justification. Chargers just lost Rivers, after 15/16 years of QB stability. Tyrod, while a level-headed QB, who takes great care of the football can be a stop-gap, we need a franchise QB. At this spot, we can't pass on a talent like Tua.
