Not sure lol. I think from the tweets and quotes from players it seems to be the classic "manufactured outrage" by the Titans. Though I do think McD will have our boys ready to lay the lumber come Tuesday night.

I won't speak for the OP bit there is a twitter post a few pages back where the Titans safey Bayrd (spelling?) seemed upset at the league and media's reaction to the Titan's situation. Basically saying it will motivate him.

I already don't like the Titans, but man I hope we smash them Tuesday night. Maybe the Bills can deliver the NFL's punishment lol

Man it really seems like the Titans are the benificiaries of all of this. Extended rest, players back in the line-up. Seems there is currently no disincentive to breaking the NFL's protocols.

I know all teams are going to be affected by the various positive tests, outbreaks, etc....but man it sure SEEMS like the Football Gods are putting a lot of this stuff right around Bills games lol. First the Raiders, then the Titans, and now the Chiefs. Crazy timing.

What it sounds like, but seems to have been omitted from her report, is that those players who have been contact-traced to have been in "close contact" with positive Covid players (I assume) have been in quarantine, so if those players pop positive tomorrow or Sunday/Monday the game is still on, as those players (I assume) have been in quarantine. The issue becomes if a player pops positive who was NOT deemed to have been in close contact with the already positive players...things might change.

I would have thought Sunday would be the earliest due to the need for 2 straight days of no new positive tests (Friday, Saturday at a minimum). I could be wrong...

My big concern would be on the prep side as preparation in the NFL has to be more detailed and extensive than preparation in the MLB (I can't know that for sure but it's just a guess). For instance, I believe today is game plan install day for NFL teams playing on Sunday. If they Bills suddenly were told, let's say tomorrow, they are playing the Broncos on Sunday, that would be tough on both teams to prepare for.

Scanning the first couple of pages of the Titans board on the link you provided...they seem to be REALLY into his old tweets that resurfaced pre-draft. Kind of odd considering Allen has played the Titans twice already (i.e. seems this would have been discussed 2 years ago and then moved on from).

Why Andy Reid? I mean, he's great, but what specifically has he done this year to warrant this consideration? Just curious.

Ha! I just finished this paragraph in the article and came to post it. I think it is THE thing that is making Allen improve so much. He is acutely aware of his short comings and seems to bust his ass to fix them. Love it.
