  1. The realistic point in this response, to me anyway, is the impact that quarantines could have on the games and season. The odds of serious illness for this demographic are pretty low and any that might occur will be just a few.
  2. While I generally agree with this, I can also acknowledge that we don't yet know all of the long-term effects of taking the vaccine, if there even is any. To a young, healthy, adult the risk of Covid having any serious effect is very low.
  3. I get your point, however there is the counter point that anyone and everyone that doesn't get the vaccine is accepting the risk themselves. While the unvaccinated arguably put each other at risk, individually they are accepting that risk.
  4. Well, we've got 75 yrs of data on the flu and what, 18 months of data on covid? Generally, the flu attacks everyone. Covid attacks the old, weak and otherwise compromised. The actuarial data on covid will be most significant in my opinion.
  5. It actually does mean a lot in the actuarial sense. But that's a rabbit hole we don't need to jump in.
  6. I believe the flu is more dangerous (and more deadly) to young children.
  7. All hospitals I'm familiar with are not requiring shots nor are they requiring staff to wear masks when they're out in public.
  8. As another said above, I think we're in for a couple of entertaining months.
  9. If vaccinated players are allowed to travel and go mask free around all of us common folk, why the concern about them being around unvaccinated teammates?
  10. I hope his teammates are OK with what he's doing. The understanding I and others were left with was that the team wasn't going to get into these discussions. Yet here we now are. Granted, the protocols are new and obviously controversial. What I'm left with at this moment is the hope that Beas hasn't gone contrary to his team's wishes.
  11. The NFL protocol is as clear as it can be. That doesn't mean it's legal. When you prevent a person from working, or even provide a "hardship", labor laws get pretty serious. The protocol might end up being legal. Al I'm saying is they haven't been challenged and adjudicated yet.
  12. I'm not so sure. The legal issues around the vaccine haven't really been adjudicated yet. We're in new territory.
  13. Regarding route running last year, the significant improvement I saw was the continued effort by the WRs when Josh had to scramble.. Their ability to find the open spot for Allen significantly improved, particularly with Diggs and Beasley.
  14. I don't know. There's an argument of the value to a rookie to allow them a year to learn behind a veteran. The NFL is the next level and it's a pretty significant jump. And then in Allen's case, the first thing he learned in year one was to run for his life and to play with a pretty shyty team around him. He had to unlearn that in years two and three.
  15. Time? By this time with many bat/insect to animal to human transmissions, the intermediate animal is found. None found yet. I'm not sure when the three lab folks that were hospitalized with covid symptoms in Nov was learned. Perhaps somewhat recently too, but that would be more so China not being transparent.
  16. Is this a starting Bill's player for another starter of the same position on another team? Easy answer is Kelce, isn't it?
  17. To keep on keeping on and Faith
  18. My moral authority is God.
  19. I ask because you inferred killing was wrong and I wondered why and under what moral authority. Sounds like it's just your personal opinion?
  20. Is killing wrong or immoral? Why?
  21. So are you saying Phizer hasn't applied for full authorization? Or perhaps better to say they can't apply until their EUA runs its' time?
  22. Yeah, I get that. Their appropriate caution is contrary to arguments regarding how safe the vaccine is though.
  23. Thank you. Regarding why I called it experimental, the pharmacist that poked me called it experimental. I asked him why he called it that because it surprised me. He said until it gets full authorization, that is technically what it is. I have believed for quite some time now that as soon as the FDA can get the full authorization on it, the better response to vaccination will occur. Frankly, that hold up continues to surprise me, given the number of arms poked at this point in time.
