  1. His coach at Wyoming, Craig Bohl, always kidded him about not shaving yet.
  2. Several of us Wyoming fans are planning a trip to Buffalo for the Denver at Buffalo game on November 24th. What's the best way for us to get tickets together?
  3. What's the harm in bringing Gentry in and giving him a try out? You never know. If it works out, great. If not, no big deal.
  4. Nobody seemed to believe us Wyoming fans when we told people he's the genuine article. A lot were just focused on his passing stats. I'm biased, of course, but the Bills got the best QB in the draft both from a football and overall decent human being standpoint. He is the face of the franchise.
  5. It says: To Pancho, You're the Man! Thank you for being a big inspiration for our team and many others! Josh Allen 17 It was preordained. Not only does the Wyoming state flag have a Buffalo and is red, white, and blue, Wyoming has a town named Buffalo. The Wyoming town Cody was founded by Buffalo Bill Cody and his museum is there. And now there's Josh Allen. It's more than a coincidence, I tell ya! ?
  6. Here's Buffalo super fan Pancho Billa, aka Ezra Castro, with a Wyoming State flag signed by Bill's QB Josh Allen. The flag is significant because it flew over University of Wyoming's War Memorial Stadium during Josh's last season at Wyoming in 2017. Thanks to UW Senior Assistant Athletic director Kevin McKinney I was able to secure the flag. Mr. Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News helped me get in contact with the Bills and Kevin Kearns of the Bills assisted in asking Josh to sign the flag. I wanted to get this to Ezra because he was the first Bills fan to greet Josh after he was drafted and also because Ezra is battling cancer and I wanted to do something to make his day a little brighter.
  7. Sorry about the Wyoming board post. I didn't realize that it would require registration. Previously they let outsiders view the threads, but you have to register to post. My bad. It was just a meme showing a tearing-up Tom Brady with the tag line: "Last night in bed, Gisele called me Josh Allen." Moving on.

  9. Watching as a Wyoming fan, I take great pleasure in Bills fans waking up to the potential of this young man. What you're seeing of him is what we came to appreciate while he was a Wyoming Cowboy. His heart and toughness lead his team to several wins that I don't think they'd won without him. Wyoming offense plummeted after he left and it was painfully obvious this past season he WAS the team. Another thing I think you'll come to appreciate is his genuine love of the game and the fans that cheer him on. When he says he's happy to be in Buffalo he means it. I'm a life-long Denver Broncos fan, but Josh Allen has made me a Buffalo fan as well. I hope for him all the success he can get, even against my Broncos.
  10. In 2017, yes. His 2016 receivers were fantastic. Check out Tanner Gentry, for example, at Wyoming. You need those kind of receivers in Buffalo.
  11. Wyoming head coach Craig Bohl was asked about Josh's leap at his Monday press conference.
  12. As a Wyoming and Josh Allen fan I can say I'm not surprised. He was an eye opener in his first series as a red-shirt freshman at UW. He continued to amaze in his career as a Cowboy. I think the trend will continue as a Bill. I can confidently say you've got your franchise quarterback.
  13. That describes about 95 percent of NFL fans. The most popular quarterback on most teams is the guy on the bench.
  14. I wish he'd had more sideline time, but Josh is highly competitive and wants to be the starter. He's going to go full bore at it critics be dammed. Apparently his teammates want him to play and will play hard for him. John Elway struggled in his rookie year as others did until they get their "sea legs". Josh will have his rough moments, but he'll work through it, just like he did at Wyoming, where he put the team on his back and carried them forward. Idon't think a lot of Bills fans realize what they have in Josh Allen, but they soon will and they'll be happy for it. Let the JA era begin!
  15. He's been the underdog his whole career. It was his belief in himself that has gotten him to this point. He's not arrogant, but he does believe completely that he's got what it takes and he's out to prove it. I wouldn't bet against him.
  16. As a Wyoming fan, I haven't seen anything from Allen so far as a Buffalo Bill that he didn't do as a Cowboy. I think he'll do alright.
  17. He's all in. When Wyoming showed belief in him by being only one of two schools to offer him he became totally dedicated to doing the best he could for the Cowboys. When Wyoming showed faith in him he became a Cowboy for life. Now, the Bills have shown faith in him by drafting him he's all in as a Buffalo Bill.
  18. I can tell you Josh didn't get a lot of help from his offensive line last year, so he's familiar with running for his life. In some ways, he performed better rolling out of the pocket than standing tall in it. Anyway, Josh is pretty resilient and whichever way they bring him in he'll adapt. I'm pretty sure of that.
