  1. The Bills ought to consider trading for Tanner Gentry, a receiver for the Bears. Gentry was Josh Allen's favorite receiver at Wyoming. He was the target for a lot of Josh's most spectacular passes in 2016.https://youtu.be/UNSHAU2cxUA It be great to get them together again.
  2. I don't see why not, especially if a lot of people are banging on the 56 percent completion stat as a sure sign he's going to fail.
  3. Another thing about Josh at the Senior Bowl. He didn't much of a chance to show what he could do in the first half, so he asked to start the 2nd half and you see the results. Being quarterback is so much more than just completion percentage; it's intelligence, leadership, grit, physical abilities, among others. Don't forget, there's 11 men on the field and they all have to do their jobs for there to be success. Great quarterbacks aren't great in a vacuum, they need receivers who can breakaway and catch, linemen who can block, runners who can make the yards, kickers who make field goals, and punters who can put the opposition on their heels. Also, the defense has to make opportunities for the offense and not put them in bad situations. In short, it's a team game. Yes, the quarterback is very important but they need their teammates to perform as well. Tom Brady can't do squat if he doesn't have the team he has around him.
  4. Josh is a competitor, so he's said he'll give it his all to try and win the starting slot. However, he's said that he knows he may have to sit for a season or two and he's fine with that. He said he's in for whatever the coaching staff determine. I like the fact he's not under a lot of pressure to start right away and gets the opportunity to adjust to the NFL game rather than being on the end of a fire hose right out the gate.
  5. Yes, a couple members of PokeNation. I can't speak for Laradise, but I'm a UW alumnus and was raised in Wyoming. I live in Virginia now, but I've been all in for the Cowboys since a young kid. I went to my first Wyoming home game in 1955 at 18 months old.
  6. Laradise! Ditto on your comments. I've been posting material over here in the hopes that the Bills faithful come to embrace Josh. We know what Josh meant to the Wyoming Cowboys and soon I hope the Bills Mafia will come to appreciate what he means for the Bills.
  7. Talking to his former Wyoming teammate Eddie Yarbrough

  9. At least they were happy in Laramie Josh was drafted.
  10. Wyoming’s offense is a run -first by design. It’s not a West Coast five receivers downfield offense. Bohl’s philosophy is the run sets up the pass. Unfortunately, the run didn’t work that well last season so they were forced to go downfield more than they normally wanted.
  11. He got them to the conference championship in 2016 and missed it by one game in 2017.

  13. No one should be shocked by this pick. The Buffalo Bills' management and ownership showed an intense interest in JA from the beginning. They were at his Pro Day in Laramie and they had him out to Orchard Park. They did extensive interviews with him. We Wyoming fans certainly knew the Bills had a high interest in him. Seriously, no one should be shocked.
  14. One thing to consider about Josh is that he worked in a pro-style offense at Wyoming. He went under center and used the five and seven step drop. He's mobile, athletic, and very hard worker. Getting to the NFL is a lifetime dream of his. He's overcome a lot of obstacles to get where he's at including no offers out of high school and only two offers out of junior college. Fortunately for him and Wyoming, Coach Craig Bohl and his OC Brent Vigen saw something in Josh. And oh, by the way, they are the same coaches that recruited Carson Wentz to North Dakota State. Josh is a high character guy which you saw how he owned up to the racially tinged tweets he made in high school, no excuses and his apology was sincere. He's a great leader. His teammates at Wyoming loved him and played hard for him. And for what's it worth he completed his degree at Wyoming. As a University of Wyoming alumnus and Cowboys fan, I acknowledge I'm biased. But believe me, you're getting a good guy and he'll do everything in his power to help his team win.
  15. You won't find anyone that works harder. You're getting a great player who's totally dedicated to playing football.
  16. You're getting a great guy who's totally focused on helping his team win. I predict a lot of the haters on here will come around. Besides, it was predestined. Witness the Wyoming State Flag:
