  1. Soo they’re not good at drafting because they’ve drafted to fit scheme and the scheme helps players succeed which results in winning games? I don’t follow. More often than not those two realities are mutually exclusive. If you don’t draft well… it’s hard to win. So what’s going to give?
  2. Now wait a minute… if this was Beane people would be upset. “He botched fixing the OL last year so he had to let our S tandem walk to try and fix it again.” Oddly sounds like “He botched the DL situation with Rousseau/Epenesa/Basham and had to go give Von Miller a big contract.” You can’t have your cake and eat it too.
  3. You may be correct, but we don’t know what the future holds. Gabe Davis, Tyler Bass and Dane Jackson from 2020 are candidates to stick as contributors on a 2nd deal. Up to this point they’ve done their job as “cheap talent” supplementing veterans. Rousseau is an extension candidate down the road and has shown signs of progression. He was a good find all the way at the back end of RD1. Brown/Doyle have shown potential, enough where they will at least provide depth on the OL. Brown could still click. 2022 is actually pretty promising and another reason why I’m not quite sure why people are so down. Kaiir Elam looked great down the stretch and conceivably gets his big deal when Tre White’s is up. James Cook was productive in a limited role… hopefully Dorsey makes some adjustments. Shakir has potential and flashed it on multiple occasions. Benford looks to be a great find late and maybe even a Poyer/Hyde replacement down the line. Bernard sticks out like a sore thumb after last year… but he might be replacing Edmunds. As it stands right now… that’s 3 starters, 2 high volume rotational pieces and a ST contributor in Spector for 2023.
  4. I keep seeing posts about all of our expensive contract and missed picks... I'm still not sure I understand. Somehow, we've sustained being a top end team for 4 years now. McDermott and Beane have been here for 6, which means they've had 6 drafts and 2 classes qualify for free agency. On paper, it's damn near impossible for them to be bad drafters and to have sustained success this long. We may not have a plethora of impact guys like we want... but it's not this colossal mess some posters are making it out to be.
  5. Any WR that doesn’t sign with Buffalo. I don’t normally disclose my sources, but my source in this case is TBD.
  6. Ah yes, if Josh Allen can hit him in stride. He hasn’t shown he’s capable of that. https://buffalonews.com/sports/bills/analysis-josh-allen-led-nfl-in-deep-passing-in-2022/article_7b4afef2-9050-11ed-922c-c3e8a2f6dfc0.html
  7. Desert Bills Fan: Take note of the things Beane already does!
  8. And some how that equals having the 2nd most wins in the league since 2018 (regular season and playoffs combined) Whatever it is, keep it going.
  9. The Saints gave him a 2nd round tender after last year that came in just shy of $4M.
  10. Per PFF grades we played 3 top 10 QBs last year. We went 3-1. Only loss was the first Miami game.
  11. No. We’re breaking down by strict LG and RG… mix in conference too… maybe even division. That makes him 15th out of 4 LG in the NFC East… math! Who was the guy that said he wanted to make defenders make business decisions when they go to tackle him? We should go get that guy too…
  12. He’s played in 60/65 games in his 4 years here… that equates to a good chunk on the sidelines this year?
  13. Didn’t we drop like 50 on Fangio’s defense the last time we played him? Has Ramsey ever contributed to a win against Buffalo? Let’s try not to sensationalize everything.
  14. It’s ironic you’re using a quote from Ted Lasso to highlight how wins and losses matter with the human element not being important 😂
  15. I actually think Benford will be a very good safety… but personally have a hard time moving him because he showed flashes of being an above average CB.
  16. It’s not that hard to look, there are articles and interviews like this everywhere, but then again you clearly don’t want to. I’ll just draw from the first one that comes to mind. Dion Dawkins - The Player’s Tribune I also want the Mafia to know something about Sean McDermott. It’s not that he didn’t have my respect before, because he did. But the way he carried himself through this D-Ham ordeal? He has my respect forever. As much as you’re heaping praise on Daboll now… that hasn’t always been the case 😀 Daboll is not the OC that this team needs. We need a OC who can utilize what this team has. Daboll has not done this at all. Epic Fail!! We need a better OC and WR's, TE's and a better OLine. To do this means you have faith in Daboll and McD. I do not have any faith in these two clowns and I am not the only one. Meathead Daboll definitely is not off the hook either. This guy is absolute garbage, like said in other post, if it was not for Allen being able to improvise this year when plays have been blown up at the line of scrimmage this team would have a losing record right now. The number one scapegoat is "Daboll" He is a cancer to this offense right now. Because of this guy not being able to utilize the talent on this Bills roster, we are not going to make the playoffs this year. We will lose 4 out of 5 of our remaining games. Then we can come back to this and then see if you think Daboll is quality OC. He is not. That’s some pretty effusive praise of Brian Daboll… just from last season too 😂 EDIT: Not sure I buy you point about you being someone that doesn’t look for negatives… reading through your posts to find those quotes… you’re almost exclusively negative 😂
  17. So after we put McDermott’s head on a stake… who do we replace him with that is guaranteed to deliver a Super Bowl?
  18. You asked if I watched the game… I said I was there… it was an answer to your question. No idea why you’re being so hostile with me in particular. I’m not disputing that they *could* have lost the game. I disagree with where you’re placing the blame for the potential loss and am using evidence to support my stance. If they lost to Miami, it would not have been on the defense.
  19. 231 yards, multiple short fields, two offensive touchdowns and a 25% 3rd down conversion rate. They did hold them scoreless on their final drive… I was at the game in person and the stats tell you exactly what happened. They had trouble moving the ball and were aided by short fields. If we didn’t gift them the ball on the 18 and a defensive TD… it would’ve been FG and punts all day. They weren’t going to sustain drives - Josh Allen helped them out a ***** ton.
  20. The defense played very well. The 3 turnovers by the offense (one for a defensive TD), big PR and kickoff out of bounds gave Miami fantastic opportunities. Miami had 231 total yards, 16 first downs and only converted 25% of their 3rd downs… that doesn’t equal 31 points 😂 Their scoring drives started on… MIA 40 (FG) Kick of OOB BUF 48 (FG) INT returned 49 YDS BUF 27 (FG) Punt returned 50 YDS BUF 18 (TD) INT returned 29 YDS BUF 30 (TD) Fumble Returned MIA 25 (TD) But yeah… defense sucked.
