  1. Ticket 760 (SA sports radio station) and the local NBC affiliate are both reporting tonight that the Saints-Bills game WILL be in SA. The Alamodome abruptly cancelled a "Homebuilder's Expo" that was scheduled for the weekend of Oct 2nd. An official announcement about the game should come tomorrow. It is believed that while the Saints-Bills game will be in SA, not all their games will be due to some Alamodome events being non-cancellable. SA is after the NFL in a bad way and the team is of course headquartered there with their families at this time. SA is the closest the Saints can get to a home game this year, so this makes sense.
  2. I still think the Bills-Saints game will be held in San Antonio. A radio report here in SA this afternoon (a SA Councilman talking) indicated that SA has absorbed over 250,000 refugees from LA. That, and the City of SA is ready to kiss serious a$$ to get some NFL games played here. They see it as an audition for a franchise moving here. (I happen to think they are dreaming about landing a franchise here.) There is talk that they could have new suites built in the Alamodome within 3-4 months. Also, Tom Benson has car dealerships and a home (I believe) down here.
  3. Good points Buckeye. A bit of humble pie isn't a bad thing. Better in preseason than later.
  4. Oh, it's from Garfield. Gee, am I embarrassed!
  5. What kind of English is this? What does this mean?
  6. Please keep us posted on whether or not this works for pre & post game shows during the regular season. Right now I pay for Field Pass but only use it to hear the pre & post game shows. The game coverage is out of sync with the signal from Sunday Ticket so I don't listen during the game.
  7. Club officials DENIED a report Benson was strongly leaning toward relocating the franchise here permanently. Link here: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/stor..._len&id=2152030
  8. I'm sending a prayer your way.
  9. Wishing there really was a hell implies that one doesn't believe in hell in the first place. That's a foolish/dangerous way to go through life. That statement also suggests one hopes someone else actually goes to hell - if you don't believe in heaven or hell, surely we can agree that wishing that on someone else is very bad karma. And of course I haven't even mentioned, that modern liberal thought has been thoroughly repudiated by most of the country (at least outside of Mass, NY and California) and it's ideas shown to be defunct.
  10. I agree. I remember when we discuss Peters being a project at LT, and we were all skeptical. Good for him that he made it.
  11. What is MM up to? Is Josh Reed going to rush the passer when Kelsay or Schobel go down?
  12. Wow, this statement is foolish for so many reasons, I can't possibly count them all...
  13. Looks cool to me, but why no end zone seating?
  14. Substitute the word "Sabres" everywhere you wrote "Bills", and I agree with your post 100%.
  15. The point is not to "convince" anyone of anything. The idea is to give the starters more time under fire to click as a unit.
  16. Thank you, I needed a good laugh!!!!!
  17. Did Villareal mean MW was cheap as in frugal or as in Conrad Dobler?
  18. Saints are saying publicly that they want to keep the games in Louisiana. My preference is for the Alamodome now that I live in SA. Link: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2149071
