OK, I'll keep it short then. It is rare that a QB in his first season leads his team to the playoffs. Rare = against the odds = usually does not happen. We all need to strap ourselves in cause it's gonna be a roller coaster this year.

As someone who has read the entire 911 Commission Report, I am not averse to reading long books (got a kick out of the guy who said Stephenson's books are long). Having said that, I did not read all of your excerpts so could you just give a brief explanation of what this genre is?

I think it was either "Bexler" or Passacreda on the afternoon drive-home show on Ticket 760. Yesterday they made their stone cold locks for the weekend where each guy picks only 3 games. The one tool picks the Bucs over the Bills so I had to call in and set him straight.

There's a sports radio "personality" here in SA that absolutely hates JP and doesn't even mention the Bills in his list of top 5-6 defenses. One day he had on a writer (from SI I think but it wasn't Dr. Z) and asked him, "Don't you think JP Losman will be a problem for the Bills?" and the writer didn't hear him right and said yes, I think he will cause problems for opposing defenses with his cannon and mobility out of the pocket." The radio guy was pissed. It was hilarious.

Obviously it depends where you are downtown, but, say, from the Alamo to the Alamodome is a little over a mile I'd guess. BTW, there are still some details to be worked out among the Alamodome people and the Saints re: the tailgate. Two different staffs having to work together on short notice to put together 3 ballgames in a couple of weeks is causing some confusion. A Councilman said today on the radio that they expect an official announcement with final details early next week. I will try to be all over it and let ya'll know what I hear.

I agree. It goes almost too fast. The only replays they show are TD's and maybe the disputed-call replays (don't remember for sure). You don't really get crowd reaction either.

Throwbacks rule. Only change I would consider is replacing the grazing buffalo with his charging cousin. Sort of a subtle update on the classic unis.
