  1. Stupid yes, but how about mentally weak? We've outgrown the loser mentality they choose to espouse.
  2. Correct. Ralph has acknowledged as much by putting "The 12th Man" on the Wall of Fame. Also, if you've been in the stadium on many gamedays over the years, you know without a doubt that the crowd has an impact on the other team's play. I have no problem with "we".
  3. Great job of pointing that out. I watched it several times on replays and pointed it out to my son. Very cool. Depending on the angle of the replay you watch, Henderson appears to come within INCHES of tipping the pass so it's very likely Wood's block was decisive in the victory. What a great football player Eric Wood is turning out to be.
  4. My stomach will be churning watching via HD Sunday Ticket in my living room in the Houston suburbs.
  5. I'm not one that generally cares that the Bills fly under the media radar, but I have to admit that it was pretty cool to be on business in Washington this week, open the "USA Today" that was delivered to my room and see a big spread on Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Bills! It was also cool that NFL Network chose the Bills-Raiders game as the "replay" game of the week - Replay blends game action with cut-ins of commentary and Fitz mic'd up. Very cool!
  6. After the team introductions last Sunday, the Bills gathered around Shawn Merriman at midfield. Merriman was rallying the troops with a fiery speech (a la Ray Lewis) and had the whole team jumping up and down together. Was cool to see, the first time I've seen this team do this. By any chance does anyone have a video of this? If not, at least maybe someone can get video of it this coming Sunday.
  7. I'll predict after hearing how much Stevie practices today and tomorrow. To me, Stevie's health is the X factor.
  8. Per Chris Brown's Twitter update from an hour ago: #Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick was mic'd Sunday. Check out the footage 2 last week's comback win on @nflnetwork Wed. at 8 pm on NFL Replay.
  9. I sat in the 200 level (JK club) and I can tell you, YES there are a lot of people lounging inside. I ran inside for a well-timed potty break (I think it was during an injury timeout right up against a quarter ending) and COULD NOT BELIEVE how many people were sitting around tables, ACTING TOTALLY OBLIVIOUS to the fact that their first-place home team was playing outside just a few feet away. I could see if it was martini-sipping blue blood old women, but it wasn't. There were many prototypical male "sports fan" types sitting around. Needless to say, as I sprinted by them trying to get back to my seat ASAP, (abandoning all dignity in the process), I could barely contain my contempt for these people. I don't get why sitting around a table staring at TV screens (something you can do at home) is better than watching live NFL football- maybe a poster who does this can explain it to me. Of course, I only get to 2 games a year so every down "live" is precious to me!
  10. How....DO....YOU....KNOW what is or isn't being discussed? They're asleep at the wheel? Is hurling baseless accusations just a hobby of yours? I don't understand some people.
  11. So in other words, Jim Overdorf is a genius!
  12. Now that we're 2-0, I'd like to stop and thank Jim Overdorf for his football expertise in bringing us Chan Gailey, an untold number of unknown free agents who are playing well, for signing Merriman/Morrison/Barnett/Chandler/Brad Smith, and for re-signing Florence/Kyle and opening up talks with Fitzy. Way to go Jim! We real fans know YOU are the real power in the front office. And oh yeah, Ralph is cheap too!
  13. Wow, too bad for Mr. Wilson but he sounds rather chipper and more importantly, lucid.
  14. Looks like bulletin board material to me. Feeds the "chip on the shoulder" mentality.
  15. The radio pregame show stated that he tried both in-booth and on the field during preseason, and determined the booth was better. In that same segment they also stated he not only communicates with the bench about defensive issues, but offense as well.
  16. Bills win using plenty of screens and draws, 21-17.
  17. Yup, screens - exactly what I expect Chan to counter with.
  18. Flying in on Saturday with Billnut Jr., will be loud and proud in Sec. 211. Woo hoo!
  19. I don't understand the Carrington reference from the OP. Can someone help me out?
  20. Good work Crayonz - you just stole Jerry Sullivan's next article. Leave it to some Bills fans (and Sullivan) to find something to complain about after yesterday's game.
  21. I'd say the demonstration of overall physical superiority. That was nice to see.
  22. I'll help you Jack... So "Big Man", what did YOU do to affect the outcome?
  23. I agree, that looked great. Contrary to what Jerry Sullivan might think, I like the direction of this franchise, I like the Nix-Gailey-Whaley team, and I do not buy the "Ralph is cheap" mantra that many like to spew.
