McDermott has a lot of control for a 1st time HC. Whaley stood on the sidelines during last years draft. What's happening this year is more reflective on McD than anyone else involved with running the team. He undoubtedly had final say on every move this year and last with player choices and coaching hires.

Pegula's handed over the keys to McDermott even though he's never drove without adult supervision before.

Maybe if Josh Allen wasn't such a prospect he'd stay on to back him up. This team isn't turning it around anytime soon, regardless of next years cap space.

McBeane going with a 5th round QB from last year who stunk and only backed up by the rawest of the top 5 QB's in this years 1st round was simply idiotic. .....and they did this after knowing the 'O' line was in shambles with the loss of Woods and Incognito and the WR's were inept.

McDermott came in here with an I'm smart, wholesome and a no nonsense coach attitude. He flexed his I'm in charge here muscles by ridding the locker room of video games, pool table and players not up to his standard. His borrowed pearl of wisdom "culture over strategy" was meant to impress and buy time, but he's looking like a sad sack worse than Rex as time goes by.

Doubt that 95% thought the Bills be this putrid and 7 games into the season it be looking more and more like a total train wreck of a season....except maybe you.

This is a dispirited and a historically offensively inept team. Plenty of blame to go around for this, none of it though, is on the players.

With McDermott at the helm, every season here on will look like tanking. The blowouts will be the norm. He's not HC material.

Losing Woods and Incognito was devastating, but McBeane's purging of this team and then going with Peterman and Allen is egotistical football lunacy. Maybe the team preacher McDermott insisted be hired, and undoubtedly necessary in creating the culture he believes in, has the answers.
