No accounting for style nowadays. Seems majority of Mens casual wear is pretty much “dungarees”, sneakers, baseball caps and shirts representing sports. -
Guessing there’ll be a Bills throng there. Gonna be a testy game, hostile crowd. My advice: maintain situational awareness.

Men’s and women’s clothing in the ‘40’s & ‘50’s TV and movies was the crowning point of Hollywood style. For many people back then, commoners if you will, dressing up to attend things was more about pride, most probably didn’t own more than one suit, or nice dress. Hence the term “putting on your Sunday best”. Check out these folks attire standing on the outside to watch a baseball game in the ‘40’s. Today, well…..I swear there are those, and it’s more than a few, who routinely roll out of bed and go out and about in the bottoms they slept in. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. -
Lucy is the 1st person I think of and is my pick. She’s a Mt. Rushmore lock. Was the driving force for the boom of TV sales in the ‘50’s. I still often bust out, even after watching the entire “I Love Lucy” series every winter for decades. Only other sitcom I have made that kind of commitment to watch is Seinfeld, which of course I laugh at non stop most every time.

Those frames are in vogue, Jason Kidd wears a near identical pair. That being the case, I’m thinking $10,000 minimum.

To A.I. or not to A.I. That is the question -

The driving is insane in the cities. NYC driving doesn’t compare. Love when the scooters roll through to the front of traffic waiting for the green light. Sometimes 50-60 scooters charging like the green flag was dropped at Indy. Obesity in Italy is near non existent from what I saw. We were averaging 7-8 miles a day walking. Ate like a king for 18 days, lost 5 lbs. I’d go back to Rome and Amalfi Coast as fast as Jeannie could get me there. We missed our train going to Rome from Florence. Total panic! We are screwed! I’m thinking it’s like missing a flight. Go to the ticket office thinking there’s no other train, we lost the cost of the tickets, which wasn’t a whole lot, but this is a disaster. She goes, well it’s $12 Euros each to catch the next one in about 45 minutes. Whew! Trains there are great. -

I’m not that brave. That, and it’s just easier, cheaper and quicker going by train and bus around Italy. We went from Venice to Florence to Rome and Naples on bullet trains. Our trip to Siena was by bus out of Florence, a little over an hour away. We hired a service out of Naples to Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast, took 1 1/2 hrs. and it wasn’t expensive either. They got it down pretty good getting people around, but again it has much to do with the size of Italy. -
The smartest and most important being their bean counters. Player safety? Sure they care about that, but it won’t get in the way of the bottom line. A drop of quality of the product and player injury risk is a chance they’re willing to take for the sake of a buck…..a very big buck. Players won’t balk too much for the same reason.

Yeah, it’s a narrow window of opportunity for reliving an old time Xmas tradition, but like what a Hallmark movie aims to do, felt all warm and fuzzy like a kid around Xmas. Crowded parking lots. Lines at registers, cashiers pleasant. People with bags full, happy smiling families. Salvation Army folks ringing bells. Wasn’t planning on going there, so glad we did and going back next week.

Only two? Was at the Walden Galleria today, place was bustling. It seemed a third there had something Bills on. By the way, the Mall is as alive as it was going back at least a decade ago. I wrongly said a year ago the place was going down. There’s very few empty stores. Lots of variety, new businesses of all kind, a Kid zone that was huge with things kids would love, like a ceiling zip line. The food court was full, lots of food options. Great sales too. Had tried control myself, though I bought a $20 Dubai chocolate bar from their shop. It would have made a great Xmas mall scene for the movie.

Trained around Italy last month. Quick, cheap, comfortable, clean and conveniences. A bit of an eye opener. But that Italy is so small comparatively, it be impossible to have that kind of efficiency and cost here.
