  1. Maybe we can move him to TE. He did play as a wr...πŸ€”... I'm kidding, I AM JUST KIDDING!!!😁. Too early? LOL. I actually really like this pick. I honestly thought he'd be gone well before 30 and go to the Dolphins and we'd make a really bad choice and take Phillips if he was still there.
  2. Took advantage of early trades. Some teams really wanted to get into the end of round one. Who am I to judge...LOL... 30. Trade for 31&104 Ravens 31. Trade for 33&106 Jax 33. Trade for 42&76 Giants 42. Q. Meinerz OG/C W. Whitewater 61. T. Campbell CB Georgia 76. J. Carman OT/G Clemson 93. D. Odeyingbo Edge Vanderbilt 104. T. Shelvin DT LSU 106. D. Deablo S VTech 161. D. 5. Or just a bunch of people smoking something...😱
  6. Yup. Yolo did ask for bold and drama.😁. Figured this will definitely cause that if it were to happen.
  7. They may be able to throw a ball, but I doubt they're better than Josh.πŸ˜‰
  8. Bill's will trade out of the 1st even with Harriss and Etienne still on the board.😱
  9. Really Like this one... One I question as to draft position is Campbell. Think he goes earlier than 72, but was hard to turn down the Lions offer and he was there... 30. Trade for 31,131 Ravens 31. Trade for 41,101 &2022 4th Lions 41. Q. Meinerz OG/C W. Whitewater Trade 61 &131 for 72,112 & 6th Lions 72. T. Campbell CB Georgia 93. Trade for 97 & 5th Chargers 97. T. Tremble TE Notre Dame 101. Trade for 137 & 2022 4th Bucs 112. D. Odeyingbo Edge Vanderbilt 137. D. Deablo S VTech 161. S. Fehoko WR Stanford 174. K. Awosika OT Buffalo 213. C. Evan's RB Michigan 236. T. Slaton DT Florida I think I covered the draft with a couple for more immediate needs in Campbell and Slaton. A few for possible very short and long term needs with Meinerz, Deablo, Tremble and Dayo (all should be able to start this year but won't be forced into it). As well as a few for potential in Fehoko, Awosika and Evan's. Also picked up a few extra picks for next year. A 4th, 2-5's and a 6th. With all of the 1 yrs contracts, I think it's a good idea to pick up at least a few for next year. Worse case it will give a little amo to move around if we need to.
  10. Trade's up, down and all around... 30. Trade for 32&64 Bucs 32. Trade for 46,96&120 Pat's 46. Q. Meinerz OC/OG W. Whitewater 52. Traded up. Gave 64&96 Bears 52. A. McNeill DT NC State 61. T. Koonce Edge Buffalo 236. C. Evans RB Michigan
  11. Was thinking about something mentioned in a couple of threads now about trading for some picks next year. Seeing we really do not have "any major holes", I thought I would play around. Also started to look at some of the mock draft databases for info on some prospects that have been brought up in some other threads to see where they may land (not perfect, I know). And this is what I came away with. 30. Trade 31, 2022 5th KC 31. Trade 42, 2022 3rd&4th Giants 42. Trade 45, 2022 6th Jax 45. Trade 54, 2022 3rd&4th Colts 54. A. McNeill DT NC State 61. T. Campbell CB Georgia 93. J. Carman OT/OG Clemson 161. S. Fehoko WR Stanford 174. D. Barnes LB Purdue 213. M. Koonce Edge Buffalo 236. C. Evan's RB Michigan Not a bad draft and loaded for bear next year.
  12. May want to fix your post... Obama may cause some issues... (Obada)πŸ˜‰
  13. If only...😁 30. Trade for 59,89,91 Browns 59. Q. Meinerz OC/G W. Whitewater 61. A. McNeill DT NC State 89. B. Jordan TE Miami 91. J. Carman OT/OG Clemson 93. Trade for 127,165 and 2022 5,6,7 Colts 127 D. Odeyingbo Edge Vanderbilt 161. D. Deablo S Virginia Tech. 165. B. St-Juste CB Minnesota 174. D. Barnes LB Purdue 213. K. Awosika OT Buffalo 236. C. Evan's RB Michigan
  14. 2011 Saints? 2008 Rams? With your last statement, it clarifies for me what Elite means when people use it. I compare it to historical teams and not just a current year. Thanks, that helps.πŸ‘
  15. Wasn't trying to be argumentative, just trying to understand what people's idea is of Elite. When I think of Elite offenses, I think about Rams 2000-2001. Similar to Defense 85 Bears, 2000 Ravens. All of those I would consider "Elite". I get it, it's hard, but isn't that what Elite is supposed to be or mean? Best of the Best?
  16. Maybe I don't understand the meaning of Elite? We have an outstanding (possibly elite) passing offense and an average at best run offense. To me that would be a Great offense, but not elite...πŸ€”. Elite in my eyes would be at least top 5 in both pass and run. No?
  17. Few trades back, but I really like how it turned out. 30. Trade for 38,69 Bengals 38. J. Williams RB N. Carolina 61. Trade for 64,137 Bucs 64. T. Campbell CB Georgia 69. Trade for 74,163 Washington 74. Q. Meinerz OG/OC Whitewater 93. J. Carman OT/OG Clemson 137. J. Darden WR N. Texas 161. N. Eubanks TE Michigan 163. B. St-Juste CB Minnesota 174. D. Barnes LB Purdue 213. M. Koonce Edge Buffalo 236. T. Slayton DT Florida
  18. Kiko Alonso. Tried watching an interview once. Dumb as a box of rocks. Boy it was painful.
  19. Really liked this one. Blast away...πŸ˜‰ 30. Trade for 41, 72 and 2022 7th Detroit 41. A. McNeill DT NC State 61. Trade for 77 and 118 Chargers 72. Trade for 73 and 2022 5th Panthers 73. E. Stokes CB Georgia 77. Q. Meinerz OG/OC W. Whitewater 93. B. Jordan TE Miami 118. Dayo Edge Vanderbilt 161. St-Juste CB Minnesota 174. D. Barnes LB Purdue 213. M. Koonce Edge Buffalo (had to show a little love to Buffalo after passing on K. Mack) 236. C. Evan's RB Michigan Dayo coming off injury, gives time to heal, bring on slowly and maybe have a nice edge next year. Couple of late round swings with Koonce and Evan's. Don't know anything about Koonce, but hey, 6th, 7th rnd, why not take a shot.
  20. Then fumble it and get benched... Or miss a blitz pick up and get our QB hammered.😱😁
  21. Sorry to quote myself, but I guess I was off on a 5th for Barnes. As I sit here watching Path to the Draft, DJ just mocked Barnes to us as 61... Interesting.πŸ€”. Guess I need to do some more research.
  22. Still looking for a Lorax replacement and haven't done extensive looks into it yet. Stumbled across Derrick Barnes LB from Purdue. Maybe a 5th or later. Also special teams experience. Again, haven't done a lot of research on him yet... Hate to put another teams link and not really sure it's allowed by law here but a nice little write up I found.. https://steelersdepot.com/2021/03/2021-nfl-draft-player-profiles-purdue-lb-derrick-barnes/
  23. Nice size, but gives me Marcel Darius vibes...😱 https://thedraftnetwork.com/articles/2021-nfl-draft-scouting-report--idl-bobby-brown-iii
  24. Said this in another post and I think it applies to this discussion as well. I still think the issue is the DT's not our MLB (or LB's in general). We had a top 5 defense 2 years ago with Hughes and Murphy on the ends and the same back 7 (same LB's). Only difference being Star and Phillips this past year. Oliver is as good as Phillip's (in my opinion) and AJ will be as good if not better than Murphy. So really the biggest change and I see was missing was Star. Again, I'm all for getting an edge rusher, but push from the middle and stopping the run would be my priority. Draft a CB or DE early but give me Shelvin or McNeill in rounds 2 or 3. Need a big guy in the middle of the line with some pass rush upside potential. Not just a big fattie. Hopefully Star is ready, but I don't want to have that as a missing piece again this year. We still have the same issue now as we had trying to beat the Pat***** for the last 20 years. Not enough push from the middle of the DL and having to use LB's to make up for it. OK. I'm done. Must be low blood sugar levels.πŸ˜‰. Carry on.
