  1. Not just teams, but fans. Don't get me wrong, I am all for winning now, but also planning for the future. One of the reasons why I really like what Beane did with FA. Truly allows for BPA and long term planning.
  2. I'm not thinking of him as a backup, but more of a rotational piece and replacement for Star next year. Honestly, I see anyone we draft this year as a rotational piece this year, other than CB or possibly OL. I just don't see any major holes. One can hope, but I am not sure a rookie is going to be better this year than what we already have.🤔
  3. I like him but I've read he is not great against the run. I think that's more of what we need in a 1DT to rotate or take over for Star. A Run stuffer with pass rush up side. If one of my top 3 are not available.Tufele, McNeill and Shelvin, then I would look for him towards the end of the draft. Just my opinion/thoughts so really doesn't mean that much...😁
  4. I think so as well. But from what I have seen on the mock sites both McNeill and Shelvin have dropped back about 10-15 spots in the last week. Maybe we'll get lucky and be able to get one of them in the 3rd...
  5. Does living in South Florida and wearing my EJ Manuel jersey in public count?😱
  6. Yeah. I have him as a mid to late 2. Not sure if he will last to 61, definitely not to 93. Maybe use a later round pick to move up a few spots from 61 to get him if needed. Not a fan of moving up, but I might here...🤔
  7. With trades. 30. Traded for 44&75 Dallas 44. Traded for 54,127 and 2022 3rd. Also gave up 236 Colts 54. Alim McNeill DT NC State 61. Traded for 69&2022 4th Bengals 69. Traded for 77&118 also gave 161 75. J. Carman OT/G Clemson 77. Q Meinerz C Wisconsin 93. Dayo Odeyingbo Edge Vanderbilt 118. T. Tremble TE Notre Dame 127. D. Diablo S VTech 174. B. St-Juste CB Minnesota 213. C. Evan's RB Michigan Not a bad haul. Balanced 4 on offense and 4 on defense as well as added 2022 3rd from the Colts and 2022 4th from the Bengals. Dayo injured his Achilles, but with our FA's it gives him time to heal and get ready for next year. Could be good timing for us. Chris Evan's looks pretty good in the highlights., but had an academic suspension?
  8. Wasn't thinking that at all... Although we could probably change the thread title to ScorpionZero's mock drafts..😂 I'm doing the same thing you are. 1000+ mock drafts and different scenarios. Just keeps changing everytime they sign someone. Big difference this year is for the last 20+ years, I always had a QB To look for. Now I'm a little lost and no BIG Holes to fill. LMAO. It's taking more time to research upgrades and future planning due to 1 year contracts, Josh's upcoming contract and potential of a rookie getting some playing time this year to be able to take over next year if they flourish. Guess this is why I am not a GM. It's harder and more work than I thought it was. Keep an eye on TSW mock draft. Lots of names will be in there that I wouldn't have thought about researching. It helps me get away from the same players I keep grabbing in my mocks. Good Luck.
  9. I'll hold my excitement until I see his return after a year off. Hopefully he comes back in his 2018/19 form. Then I'll get excited... Maybe you should start a random thoughts thread..😉 LOL..
  10. I'll add Alim McNeill DT. Little short at 6'2 but is 320. Has some upside in the pass rush. May be good to rotate with Star this year and possibly replace him next season. Not tech savvy, so hope the link works..🤔 https://youtu.be/eRshNqa-KEU
  11. Stokes or Oweh would be my choice of that list. Don't care for 1st round RB's (unless generational talent), OL, LB and WR, not on my priority list (plenty to choose from after 1st rd) and way too early for IDL for what we need and our rotation. But it's your mock. Good luck..😉
  12. I think he called after he started that thread and has been on the phone with them since. That's why he hasn't responded to this one yet.. Still on Hold...😂
  13. I'm thinking trade back out of the 1st (maybe ATL? But not too far) pick up a 3rd or 4th. 1st pick, CB, 2nd pick s/lb/big nickel, 3rd NT (Shelvin or McNeill), 4th RB (R. Stevenson or Chris Evans, power type) then who knows.. TE, DE, OC/G..
  14. Love that little guy. Went to buy his Jersey, but could only find extra small..😉
  15. I could see trading back and getting some ammo for next year. Lots of 1 year deals in place. Especially due to the current roster and not having a lot of spots to fill. Plus I think it was tough to really do any good evaluations this year for college players. Really only a few spots to potentially look for upgrades DT1, CB2 and maybe RB...
  16. Well. He played in 16 games last year. I already like him more than Clowney...😂 Seriously thought. Tough story, but a good one as well. Amazing how some people's lives are and are able to achieve what they do. I cannot even imagine living his earlier life. I hope he works out and I'll be rooting for his success.
  17. Who knows. With those measurables he could be O**bad a**.😉
  18. Probably not the Best Nickname for someone that also has a restaurant...🤔😉😂
  19. From the listed. Mayfield... Toney? I thought we were looking for speed? He's like 4.6-4.7 from what I've read... 1st round RB?No thanks. Haven't read or seen anything that would lead me to believe he is a generational talent... Mayfield, RG, LG or tackle... Well if something happens to Morse, you can shift Mongo to center and have him come in at RG. Something happens to William's, put him at RT... Ford doesn't get his s*** together put him at LG.😉
  20. Guess you didn't like mine. Should have explained more. LOL. No Mckensie, Sanders is no spring chicken. Heaven forbid something were to happen to Diggs or Beasley. Guess I was looking at Depth and you were looking at upgrades.🤔
  21. I'd go with edge from the poll. Question though. Any reason why DT was not an option?
  22. My top 3 would be: A.McNeill, Shelvin and Tufele. If we can't get one of them, I'd probably wait and try to get Brown, Slayton or Tonga. Could be some really late picks that might be worth fliers on are Q. Bohanna, N. Jones and L. Neil.
