  1. I guess in a round about way, yes. That ONE GAME. We can go 18 (19)&0 but if we cant stop or get past the Chiefs in the playoffs, what's it matter? I just don't think scoring 50 points is a realistic way to do it. Although I love the conversation and back and forth, I think we are at a point of agree to disagree. I'm not really here to argue opinions. We all have them and there is no way to really win an opinion based disagreement. As my ex would tell you, I'm stubborn and hard headed. 😁. I will agree with you on Josh though and he does deserve every weapon and tool available for him to win (after a CB in rnd 1).😉
  2. You kind of made my case.👍 "No punts"! How much more offense do we need? Would another #1 receiver won any of the last 5 games? Or would a top corner have helped more against the Chiefs? Our D IS good enough when our talent is there. (Tre). No Tre, no win. Hence forth why I want a top corner in the draft. He won't be there to start the season and Levi or Jackson are not DB1's. And Levi probably won't be back either. Just to be clear and I believe I have said it in other posts. I am ALL for an offensive driven draft after getting a CB. I'd be happy running the rest of the D back again next year.
  3. I don't think it's realistic to expect 30+ points a game in order to win. I think it more realistic to hold a team under 30. We scored on every posession against the Pats and 36 points against the Chiefs. Should have been MORE than enough. Offense wasn't an issue in my opinion. But I can see you are more offensive minded and I am more defensive minded. All good. I'll stick with my 25th pick at CB.😉
  4. We beat them earlier with Tre and held them to 20 (albeit their O wasn't firing on all cylinders). Our D would have been good enough with Tre or a top CB. Keep them under 30, we win. I honestly think we were a Tre away from winning that game.😉. I definitely will not argue against the dumb plays towards the end (pure stupidity in my opinion). I have ALWAYS hated a prevent defense (prevent from winning is what I call it).
  5. But we gave up 42 points. Do you think if Tre was there or we had a top corner, maybe Milano wouldn't have been trying to cover Kelce? Or a top corner could have stopped Hill on his TD? Or just one more stop in the game? I think 36 points is more than enough to win. Do we really think having another weapon would have yielded more points? I think the key is keeping them under 30, not scoring more than 36. But that's just my opinion.
  6. Yeah, I see it 7 drops in his college career?? I think I dropped my phone more times since yesterday than he has passes in his career.🤣
  7. I've started reading more info on Skye Moore. From what I've read so far, I kind of like this kid. I don't watch college ball. Anyone seen this young man play? Thoughts? 2nd rnd? https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Skyy-Moore-WR-WesternMichigan
  8. Interesting thoughts. I wouldn't be for the entire first round or even non-playoff teams, but maybe top 10 could be Interesting seeing I don't see us picking in the top 10 anytime soon.😁
  9. After letting GB's mock marinade, revisiting the thread and comments (many times), I just can't get on board with Williams at 25. ( I really tried...) Many keep saying we have the luxury of time to wait for him, but many are not looking at do we have time to wait for Tre to return. I believe we currently have Jackson, Johnson and Lewis as our starting CB group. None are #1 or 1b corners( and not confident in a #2). We didn't lose because of the O. I don't think we had anyone to cover (and BS defensive play calls at the end). So, before I get beat up on "drafting for need", I think the value is there as well ((opinion). Using GB's draft, Mccreary, Elam and Mcduffie are still available. Each show as a mid-late 1st rnd, early 2nd by a couple. Definitely not available by our 2nd pick. Plenty of fast WR's after the 1st rnd and to use a 1st on Williams as a 3rd or 4th (when he's back) I just can't seem to put a higher value on Williams than a CB based upon the CURRENT team state. And then when Tre returns you have a 1a, 1b and Johnson. That's a VERY good group of CB'S. We get pressure from the Dline, but give them an extra 1/4 to 1/2 second and I think they'll get home more often. Don't get me wrong, If Tre was going to start the season or we had a CB that could really fill his shoes, I could get on board with Williams, just can't right now. OK, I'm ready for my beating now (I think).😁
  10. I wouldn't hate drafting him but, I think they'll re-sign Harry. If Star doesn't retire, I don't see us drafting a DT1 early. Maybe a late rounder. Unfortunately, I just don't see us drafting a DT1 on day 2.
  11. I feel much better at this point than I did last year. We got our butts handed to us last year, had a bunch of FA's and what seemed to be a bunch of holes. I really think if we had Tre White we would have beat the Chiefs. Or maybe a better couple of defensive play calls at the end of regulation. Could we use improvement, sure. But, OL came together. Sign Bates and We are pretty good in my opinion. Dawkins, Bates, Morse, Williams and Brown. Backups of Feliciano (G/C), Doyle (swing T) Ford (G) and draft a couple late or FA's. Draft a RB 4-5th rnd, WR and TE 2-3rd. CB 1st rnd. Keep Addison or Hughes for 1 more year, re-sign Obada or see if we can add Shaq on a team friendly deal. Re- sign Phillips.Add depth 6 and 7th rnd. Oh, and sign a new punter. 😉
  12. I mentioned Skye Moore earlier. Haven't really checked him out yet. Maybe worth looking into.
  13. I think you missed an M.🤣 Had a feeling you'd reply.😉
  14. Don't they have the insurance guy as well?😉
  15. Dang... Do you type in Brail? You have to be blind by now....😉
  16. Don't let the door hit you, where the good lord split you. Buh, bye.😁
  17. Or he could have been talking about our secondary.🤔
  18. Bengals & 49ers . When I don't have a dog in the fight, I always go with the underdogs. Not that I expect either of them to win in all reality.
  19. Maybe check out Skye Moore.
  20. He can only be special if he's on the field. He hasn't played a full season since his rookie year. What's the saying, best ability is availability? He hasn't been able to do it. Just my opinion.
  21. Or you might be able to get Jerome Ford later in the draft. 5 ' 11: 220e and a 4.36. I'm not a fan of RB's in the 1st round.
  22. This. I thought I was an outlier. 1 full season... I'd rather grab a rookie in the 3rd or 4th instead.
  23. It hasn't ended for me. I'll still watch and enjoy the games. Still a football fan. I have, however, shifted more time and attention to draft prospects and much less time on current nfl news and shows.
  24. I was just thinking the same thing while I was reading the article about 5 potential OC's. I also want experience. I think if we had an offensive minded HC, I might be ok with a newbie. But with McDermott, I want experience!
  25. Probably. Hey wait, what do you mean "Bills fans DID"? Still DO.😉
