Gunner's 2022 Mock Draft (v3 and FINAL - p.17!!)
78thealltimegreat replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
It sounds like Beane really wants to add a speed guy or two based upon his end of season comments… Bills where one of the worst YAC teams in the league making the fact they had a top 5 offense even more impressive every other elite offense has guys who can do things after the catch other then Diggs the Bills really don’t -
Malik Boyd will be the next one people will want to pluck from us wouldn’t be surprised if he isn’t named assistant GM in the next week or two

We only have two of our starting 5 WRs under contract next year if Beasley doesn’t accept a restructure and we only have 1 pass catching te the lines can be added in rounds 3 and 4 we need to get a Josh a weapon or two early in this draft Totally agree!! And we only have real 1 TE on the roster we need another one of those too -

I would do cartwheels if the bills landed Williams even after his ACL year that guy has Olympic track speed -
With Allen, can the Bills de-emphasize skill positions?

Going to pound the table for Trey McBride at 25 an elite pass catching te to go with the finally developed Dawson Knox gives this O a flexibility it honestly has had before -
If he tries to recreate the Patriots light offense he used in Buffalo… he’ll go the smaller shiftier receiver route if Beasley doesn’t restructure he’s definitely a possibility even though the New York media with Beasleys politics are like oil and water. Another one is Zack Moss if they decide to move on from Saquan he strikes me as a Daboll draft pick that didn’t work out

Rather excited to have a new OC

6 points against the worst team in football says we definitely can be more consistent why did it take to the second half of the Tampa game to realize Motor Singletary is on the roster? -
Offseason Trade Prediction: We acquire Saquan

This makes sense for both teams but I wouldn’t do anything above a 4th for him he’d absolutely go crazy in Buffalo in the same backfield with Allen but Barkleys to hurt to often to make any kind of serious investment in him -

Well he is but don’t hate appreciate https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/micah-parsons-by-the-numbers-cowboys-standout-set-to-have-greatest-rookie-season-for-defensive-player-ever/amp/ -
When you see what Herbert, Burrow, and Jackson are about to get Josh’s contract will look like a bargain

Yes he is -
First let me say I like Daboll I wish him well he’s going to need it with arguably the best defensive player in football in Micah Parsons chasing around his QB twice a year. But it was time for a change. Brian got incredibly reliant on Josh’s legs to bail him out of situations where he’d run out of solutions it was almost like in case of 3rd and 3 or less break glass deal. It also sounds like based on Beanes and McDermotts comments the offense was going to change anyway as they wanted to build up the running game as a way to protect Josh. Also while many are paranoid about a new OC in Buffalo look at Dabolls OC record before getting here. He wasn’t exactly the next Bill Walsh So let the front office work nine coaches got let go this offseason with some quality people on those staffs see Greg Olson out in Las Vegas for example and ironically he was up for the job last time

I’d actually be scared as a bills fan with Dorsey you have a Super Bowl caliber team and a guy whose never called plays at any level be your oc. The Giants have a terrible cap situation with some awful contracts on that roster and decisions on Barkley and Jones coming up he’s not walking into a Golden setup there either
-
Pick 199 we could have had him too
-
For all we know maybe Dorsey told them he wanted to move on and wasn’t interested in the job remember Ken Dorsey has never called a single play at any level of football that is awfully risky for a team in a Super Bowl window

You realize Daboll was essentially a retread?

I wouldn’t be shocked if Kenny Pickett isn’t a Giant and they move on from Jones before the draft -

This is their 3rd in five years and they ain’t passing Dallas anytime soon so that means you believe Daniel Jones is a better QB then Jalen Hurts who just went to the playoffs -
Since you seem to have issues understanding things at no time this year was Gabriel Davis the starting 1 or 2 receiver and let me put it to you even further the game that was just played with the Chiefs the starting offense on the first possession of the game was Diggs 1, Sanders 2, Beasley 3, and when they went empty Davis 4 is this something you can understand? That Josh Allen destroyed the Chiefs secondary with the Bills 4th most targeted receiver?

Have you watched them since they won the Super Bowl last? They have been the worst team in their conference for the last 5 years -
You could go back to Bama and Bill OBrien who would probably jump at a chance to work with Josh But With The Raiders in flux go get Greg Olson one of the best OCs in the league and just sitting out there with no job

Keep thinking that the Giants haven’t seen the playoffs in 7 years and it wasnt all Gettleman they just don’t have much talent
