  1. Good to see the Bears bridging the gap in required orange uniforms after Cincy went all white last week
  2. "I don't like this Lieutenant McDANiels"
  3. With Pat Summerall to either egg him on or reign him in?!
  4. Buffalo is already nasty, and now the Bills are getting healthy!!!! The bye week lined up perfectly this year! Look out NFL. Buffalo is wrapping up it's toughest 6 game stretch of the season, and will be 4-2 at worst, often with the entire secondary starting backups and rookies. KC will be tough, but I feel bad for Green Bay and every team after. This team has yet to peak. Our backups and rookies are experienced now too, and are producing. The best silver lining.... Oh Yeah!!! LET'S GOOOOOO!!!!!!!
  5. Just having a little fun with you. Nothing personal! I wish we had Doyle for this run. Go Bills!!!
  6. Looking at the map and comments CBS has scrapped broadcasting either of those games for Buffalo vs KC. And honestly, why not? If I am a broadcast company I am hoping for the fireworks these two teams put on last year in the playoffs. As a Bills fan, I hope for the game earlier last season that seems to be forgotten. Would not be surprised to see Eagles vs 49ers in NFC Championship game. 2 best teams in the NFC. And it isn't close.
  7. Every podcast (of other teams)/ youtube channel/ football show can't believe Bills vs Chiefs is not prime time. NFL fans in general are excited about this game. CBS backed into a viewer gold mine. Philly vs Dallas is going to be a war. Specifically Eagle offense vs Cowboy defense. It may not be high scoring, but it will be a regular season show down. 24-20 Eagles.
  8. Profootball reference also has a similar metric called SRS. It looks at a lot of things like strength of schedule, point differential etc, but it's flaw is it is cumulative for the season, so injury impact to top players is understated in the moment. The Bills are at an absurd 20.55 KC is at a very good 4.49 Negative values are allowed and common. The Profootball reference idea is that you could take two teams SRS and subtract them for a base point spread on a neutral field based on past performance. 20.5-4.5 = 16 points. -3 for generic home field and it's still -13 Buffalo. To put 20.55 into perspective: The 2007 Pats (16-0) had a SRS of 20.06 The 2001 Rams (14-2) had a SRS of 13.35 The 2019 Chiefs had an SRS of 9.14 The 1990 Bills, who many consider the best team to not win a Super Bowl had an SRS of 8.65 It's just another analytical value to throw into the pot for discussion. It does not consider new injuries etc. I have found a few gambling opportunities double checking SRS, especially later in the season when the data set is larger and I adjust for impact injuries.
  9. Umm who wants to tell him first? Doyle is on season ending IR
  10. https://buffalonews.com/sports/bills/bills-safety-micah-hyde-undergoes-successful-neck-surgery/article_4f22d3d8-4a35-11ed-9b7b-73f6c2290624.html https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2022/10/12/23400476/micah-hyde-injury-neck-surgery-recovery-timetable-buffalo-bills Hyde's successful surgery was confirmed Wednesday. Surgery was performed by spine specialist Dr. Robert Watkins in Los Angeles. 6 months from October is April. I'm not sure what playoff push you are expecting in April, but Hyde is out for the season. No one likes it, but his 2022 season is done. I hope he is healthy and ready to go in 2023 (#23in23). This is the same argument that was had about White where fans thought he would be ready at the start of the season. Heal time is heal time, and Buffalo won't rush anyone back. It is what it is. On the plus side White, Benford and Poyer were all practicing in red non-contact jerseys today. White and Benford are probably looking at being available vs Green Bay. Hopefully Poyer can play this week vs KC.
  11. Makes sense to see other AFC East games in the early slots. May tune into the Jets game. They are building a little something down there. GB will be a good test.
  12. He was not placed on IR. He had surgery about a week ago. It was his right hand. I could see vs Green Bay at the earliest.
  13. "Roger, can we move you to RG so we can get Bates back to LG where he belongs?" that is all
  14. White and Benford back!? Good times at OBD. Both should be ready for Green Bay? Poyer too!....
  15. I don't think this suggestion is that far out there. Last season it was Diggs, Sanders/Davis outside, Beasley in the slot and McKenzie lined up all over the place or in 4 WR sets. Basically the suggestion is Diggs, Davis outside with Shakir replacing Beasley in the slot and McKenzie reverting to his role the past two seasons. A question is will Dorsey use 4WR sets, or McKenzie in that role? We have seen few jet sweeps or end arounds with McKenzie or anyone this season. I'd lke to see McKenzie back in that role. A lot of time those plays have been needed sparks to help the offense get into a groove. They also help keep defenses on their toes. I also think Shakir is a guy who can get into a rhythm and get on a roll. Just a feeling from offseason and last week's game.
  16. Run defense is also much improved. The swap outs on DL have helped a lot. Buffalo has allowed the 2nd fewest rush yards, and 3rd fewest YPC against. KC is third in rush yards against (4.1 ypc). Good to see YAC and run defense have been addressed and we are seeing good improvement!
  17. https://billswire.usatoday.com/2022/10/12/buffalo-bills-micah-hyde-surgery-neck-injury/ Season ending IR. Had neck surgery, 6-9 months per above report
  18. I don't see it Virgil. I understand the thinking, but you don't trade away a S playing at an All-Pro level during a Super Bowl run. We know Hyde is out for the season, but I haven't seen much news on the extent of the injury. For a guy like Hyde to go on season ending IR during a run it makes me worried we are looking at another Aaron Williams situation. THat would leave Hamlin and Johnson at best in a playoff/ Super Bowl run. Hamlin is a good player. I have seen some all 22 and he is all over the field. It is impressive. Johnson, not so much. White/Jackson/Johnson/Poyer/Hamin is a fine secondary White/Jackson/Johnson/Johnson/Hamlin is solid, but I'd rather have the above.
  19. I have to report this as a crime against humanity.... Love ya Gugny, but you left me no options! 🤣
  20. Great news! Does this open the 21 day window where White has to be activated or put on IR?
  21. I also hear he puts Ketchup on steak, hard pass for me dawg
  22. Who said anything about hurting anyone's feelings? NO one needs a distraction before the biggest game of the year.
  23. You nailed it without realizing it. They are approaching the biggest game of the year. Why create such a distraction before the Chiefs game? Why create an even bigger media circus before the Chiefs? EDIT - Page 25! Watch out Ertz
  24. i think a lot of it is tongue in cheek
  25. funded by Skynet and Tyrell Corporation you had me at the first half of this reply....
