Like Sammy Watkins....wait he had better numbers with Tyrod. That doesnt fit the storyline. Tyrod is so awful, he cannot even throw the ball like a high school QB. ur WR's would all be HOFers if they only had a mediocre high school QB.

Streater is more likely to not make the roster than be the #2.

RD3, Pick 96: Harrison Phillips DT - Stanford
ngbills replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good pick. BPA and fits a need. Called for it. -
What would you like to do with #96?
ngbills replied to Victory Formation's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
T Smith - WR D Hamilton - WR Harrison Phillips - DT T Crosby - OT N Nelson - CB -
The Book is Closed on the Mahomes Trade
ngbills replied to Zerovoltz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Funny - this is opposite of what we did yesterday if you think about it. -
I will say its easy to fling it when your playing for Wyo. Put Tyrod out there he would be flinging it. Lets see if he can fling it when he has to make his read quicker, faces schemes and adjustments, has a more complex offense.

Irresponsible to trade away so many picks?
ngbills replied to Klaista2k's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If we gave away 3 first we would have looked really foolish. Bc we could have done that does not mean it looks better we only gave away two seconds. Point is we possibly could have gave away nothing. Or a 3rd and 5th like AZ did. -

ngbills replied to Klaista2k's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Isnt it always thh case that "if he is a stud no one will care". That is part of the issue, the draft is a gamble, meaning the more chances you have the more likely one will hit. Both guys the Bills took could be considered riskier picks. A QB with lots of upside but lots of questions. A LB that is not even 20 years old. -
One thing is for sure...Beane and McD are NOT conservative
ngbills replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
6 players in first three rounds or 3 players in those rounds? Likely would still have gotten Allen or Rosen at 12. Then any of WR Moore or Ridley, LB Evans, OL Wynn or Hernandez. So one of them and 4 more guys in 2nd and 3rd rounds. Now we have Allen and Edmunds and a late 3rd rounder TBD. -
Rank the Bills Remaining Areas of Need.
ngbills replied to BurpleBull's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well for starters both tend to hold the ball too long. Allen has not played against this type of talent. He is going to have an adjustment period and having a poor OL and no WR is going to make things even more difficult. Just for starters. -

OL far and away. We have lost 3 starters. WR we need at least a #1... This OL with either Allen or AJM is going to be a complete disaster. Its going to be a movie we have all seen before here at OBD. -
We had 12, AZ had 15. Not to mention better 2nd and 3rd round picks. Would not have been hard.
-
Sucks - could have traded back to 10 for much much less.

Tyrod Taylor turning heads in Cleveland.
ngbills replied to PIZ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So Cam Newton and Joe Flacco are also bottom 5 QB's. While Jameis Winston and Goff are clearly top 5. No chance that the type of offense has any impact.. Not saying Tyrod is the best passing QB in the league. But some of the stats used like this do not mean anything. Put him in a different offense and his passing yards go up. Give him different receivers and his yards go up. -
I dont think you should put much wait on garbage time in 60-0 blow outs. That is where the majority of his time was played. Lets see how he does next year.
-
Every QB in the NFL and likely every QB in college football can throw that ball.
-
On paper, the Bills have 9 solid staters.
ngbills replied to njbuff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What is solid vs good vs bad? I think fans of a team always overstate average guys as solid, like a Milano. If he was on MIA we would not call him solid. I think White, Hyde, Poyer are easy solid players. Davis is a ? given he was out last year. All three of our LB's are questionable. Not many around the league would call any of them solid. Hughes has seen better days, Kyle is on the tail end of his career. Shaq has been a disappointment thus far. Then Star has seen his play decline as of late. So how many of them are solid? Could be all 4 or could be none. -
I would not say that. I think its more that a strong arm alone wont make you a good QB. Just like being smart wont make up for lack of arm strength. Each can help hide other things but you need a bit of both. Brady does have good arm strength. The "draft profile" myth of Brady being so nonathletic lives on. Watch the ESPN sports science on him. Shows he is much fatser and stronger etc than people try to claim.

Russell Manziel, Johnny Willson, Johnell Wilziel, Russohnny Mansell Why would we want that?

He did have 1 of the Bills 27 sacks...
