Munchak for OL coach?
-
Happy to keep him...I think. I would like to see some experienced coaches around him. A lot of QB coach experience but none running the entire O. We have an opening at OL coach so ideally we can find a really good one that can be an asset to Dorsey.
-
KC - Chris Jones CIN - Hendrickson SF - Bosa LAR - Donald We just need a one of those type of guys.
-
Bennett and Martin are the only named candidates Dorsey and Hall are the assumed candidates Between those 4 - I am tempted to go with Dorsey though Bennett has more experience. This would be a move out of continuity vs knowing Dorsey is better. We are all just guessing if we think we know who is best of these 4 names. Some names we have not heard yet that we know: Doug Pederson - Heard of him. Had some decent years without a Josh Allen talent. Dave Culley - worked with Allen. Kind of blah. Bill OBrien - Good offensive coach, not a good GM. Would he want to be an OC or wait for an HC gig? Mike Leach - If we are worried about going conservative. Leach will have Allen throwing 50 times a game.

I’m just glad nfl network turned off the bills chiefs game to go to Brady coverage. I can’t take seeing it over and over and over. It’s not like it’s not engrained in my head.

Mike Leach

or on the extra point

I just want consistency. Dont have a rule if your not going to call or pick and choose when to all it. Either it is a rule or not and in this case it was a clear cut rule violation. That is different than not liking the rule in the first place.

“Under the NFL's ridiculous taunting rules implemented this season, Hill should have been flagged for that gesture and the score should have been wiped from the board. The Chiefs should have been penalized 15 yards from where the taunt happened, which would have given them a first down at around the 30-yard line.”
-
I may be wrong but the taunt was before he was in the end zone so the td would be called back.

13 seconds to tie the game and 37 seconds to end a half are night and day.
-
Not sure about all of that or what I am demanding. I thought this was a conversation comparing what KC did to NE vs. what they did this past weekend. I disagree with the take that what KC did was normal and the KC/NE was the same thing.
-
I would be quite different. I would be pissed we lost, but some point accepted KC did what it needed to win. This is different and most people on here see that. This was an awful coaching decision that impacted the game. Not players outplaying players.
-
Agree to disagree. There is the what happened and there is a how it happened. Watch the Bills/KC ending side by side with KC/NE side by side. KC gets credit for making plays vs NE. The Bills was an epic failure, essentially without an effort to stop it.
-
We can sign his as a holder specialist.
-
Completely different. Starting from the fact it took 16 seconds. First play took 9 so I doubt KC is thinking field goal with only 4 seconds left. The plays were completely different. Not here throw and run really quick with no one around you. Here do the same thing again. Once incompletion and its basically game no FG territory but Bills didnt even get close to the KC players. It is completely and utterly inexcusable, insane, atrocious and any other word to say how terrible a decision it was.
-
But would need to be adjusted for not caring at all about giving up 10 yards or having any pass rush or a running play.
-
No way you can say a team will tie the game one in ten times when down 3 with 13 seconds left. Try more like 1 in 50 or even 1 in 100.
-
What is Hill like some 8 foot tall guy that runs a 1.4 40? He could whizz past everyone jump 15 feet in the air catch the ball and only 2 seconds come off the clock? Not likely. You have 11 defenders back I just dont see how he makes a play other than a hail mary type play which is not the strong point for the chiefs short wr's.
-
I think go 2-9 just to at least have some rush. Or you fake they are rushing and have them drop back in coverage that strategy could have potentially knocked down the quick Mahomes pass on 1st. The other 9 guys cover the field in thirds. You give up anything less than 10 yds but should at least tackle them quickly.

The Way Too Early Offseason Armchair GM Thread
ngbills replied to Ball'n's topic in The Stadium Wall
Good as gone: Beas $6M, Klein $5.2M, Feliciano $3.5M That gets us to $25M in space. Ford and Matakevich could get another $4M; D Williams would get another $5.5M. Restrux ? Diggs, White, Dawkins can each get $5M plus in cap dollars with restrux. So without doing a ton we could be sitting at anywhere from $25M to $50M in cap space. That should be enough to bring in a few good players.
