I have a lot of hope for Cook. The one concern I have so far is he reminds of CJ Spiller. The way he plays and the way he is wired. Does not seem to get very amped up and hard to tell how much he wants it.

Agreed. Allen (not rookie Allen) on most of the drought rosters and we are making the playoffs many of those years. We rarely had horrible teams - only won less than 6 games only 3 times in those 17 years. Most were simply mediocre teams with no QB or even good teams with no QB.

This is why one play, one game, limited anything is meaningless. You could put a high school football player on the field and if the set up is right they break off a 50 yard run. Broken coverage and a high school QB throws an 80yd TD. This is running and throwing, which many people can do. Its not something that you only need to see once to be impressed. Its about doing it consistently better than 99% of the rest of the world.

Agree Keenum looked bad. But dont forget he played against the 1/2's on the colts. Barkley was playing 3/4/5's. But he did look much better regardless.

I hope the hype pans out. Im just not as high on shakir based on the tape or the numbers. He makes some good catches but doesn’t seem to get great separation and is playing low level competition. He just looks like a good college wr that gets lots of targets. I also don’t see the he is a guy you can hand the ball too, Deebo comparisons. Prove me wrong.

I chose worse but will be feared. I think they will still be a good defense but history tends to show a regression in defenses. I think they turn it on come playoff time but have some rough patches during the season that hurt the stat book. But they still finish top 10 in the regular season, but #1 during the playoffs when it counts.

I would have liked this better 5 years ago when we needed bodies. Not so much when we really only need a few guys and more impactful the better. Hopefully they use the 4 6ths to get into the 3rd or 4th.
