  1. http://draftanalyst.com/pro-day-march-26-sam-houston-state-northern-iowa http://houstonianonline.com/2018/03/28/hall-shines-at-pro-day/ http://www.gobearkats.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=19900&ATCLID=211707957 https://brownswire.usatoday.com/2018/01/20/p-j-hall-uses-shrine-game-to-show-skills-as-potential-browns-dt/ I know (w/or w/o Star) DL is one of our biggest needs. However, being as we may finally land a higher rated QB prospect we will likely not spend a higher round draft pick on DL. With that being said, what does everyone think about PJ Hall? I thought he looked great in the Senior Bowl and his workouts have been awesome so far. As a compliment to our DL right now and using him as rotation, I would love to pick him up in the 3rd rd (later pick). Although I feel we would need to use the top pick in 3rd to have a chance as I think he will be gone due to his workouts. I also like DL Harrison Phillips but I think his size and strength will put him squarely in rd.2 discussion.
  2. Nothing to do w him playing LB but I really wish we were in a position of need/want for a S like him. He is a monster!
  3. ^ This. We are looking at more of today's successful linebackers akin to the Derrick Brooks, Shaq Thomspson, Ryan Shazier mold rather than the traditional 4-3 LB
  4. This should be plastered all over the TBD board... Regardless of the A. Dalton situation, we were literally in position the entire year. That ish was fun... for the first time in decades, each week (even past wk.12) was actually exciting because we had hope. Then it worked... Exactly...
  5. It would likely be one of Kiper's first accurate mock picks ever... He is notoriously terrible
  6. Dude... You are killing me. This is my last attempt... She (the security guard) said that entry that way was prohibited. He cannot enter where she said it was prohibited. He was directed to take a different route to enter. He did not. Therefore his "credential(S)!" would not matter because he still has to obey the rule. Even if he was wrong he cannot touch her because SHE IS THE AUTHORITY in that situation. Again, regardless of whatever "credential" you think he had... ugh.
  7. I will do my best to break this down sensibly... First of all, what in the ish are you talking about, "the NFL said he had a credential?", what does that mean? he cant physically touch anyone, in any manner. TX Penal Code § 22.04- says that: (a) A person commits an offense if he intentionally, knowingly, recklessly, or with criminal negligence, by act or intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly by omission, causes to a child, elderly individual, or disabled individual: CHECK (1) serious bodily injury; (2) serious mental deficiency, impairment, or injury;  OR (3) bodily injury. CHECK That is felonious injury to the elderly (in Tejas) because she is over 65 and he WILLINGLY entered a prohibited area with reckless omission. In doing so he made contact. Again, I am sure the injuries are exaggerated and the suit is 14mo. old however, he is (or will likely be found to be) liable for any subsequent injuries. He is an idiot. Now here is a simpler way to see it, assuming you still may be having trouble. If she said he cannot enter an area and she is security (true), or any other person with the authority to prohibit someone from entering an area (or redirecting them to another entrance) then he cannot enter. At a concert it is unlikely that you would take on (and win) against a stage security guard however, if you pushed one off stage by accident and they so much as tweaked an ankle, you may be found liable for that injury. Why, because you should have never been on stage to begin with and that security guard was acting in the scope of his employment to tell you not to do so. Regardless of how exaggerated the injury may be, she still said no (she is the rule enforcer here, regardless of handicap) and the area was still prohibited. He ignored that and entered. Now because of this entry, he is or should be found guilty if the injury warrants it (for the felony) and for sure liable in civil court (think OJ). Plus more than anything, I believe in karma and he is an as bag so this is hopefully just the universe working itself out.
  8. How could he NOT be in the wrong. If you are that naive then you should try the theory. It is the Super Bowl, I assume there will be some sort of evidence to show he pushed through the area and I am sure the PUSH is likely exaggerated. However, lets ignore the physical contact and agree that in order to even be accused of physical contact he would have had ignored her and already began to enter an area he was TOLD NOT TO ENTER. Making him wrong, or at least liable for whatever ensues as a result of the trespass. Now back to the fact that there may or may not have been contact... She is an elderly disabled woman without the use of her lower body and he a 6'4" 275lb professional athlete who blatantly entered an area he was told not to... There is no way he is found to be justified in ANYTHING to come of his presence. Believe it or not, people are not hunting for reasons to crucify him and make him some kind of spiritual martyr for as holes. It may hurt a little bit but he just is kind of a diq.
  9. Is this real life? Of course it was worth it.... How do you normally feel after week 17? Ask yourself that and then ask yourself how you felt this year. Of course it was worth it.
  10. The Bennett family are notorious POS.... Evident from the beginning of his brother's time with Dallas all the way until his time faking a racial issue in Vegas (video showed what he said did not happen). Good riddance once they retire. Bryan Cox clones.
  11. https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/977254449373642752 I don't think I would mind this. Although I most definitely DO NOT WANT IT, there could be a very nice silver lining. Although Suh was very productive last year he is 31yo. In addition, the Jets have always had an excellent D-line and I don't think Suh would change any game plan. Plus nothing could be worse than what NYJ DL did to us in the most recent Color Rush game. With that being said, I think it could be great for us if they end up tying up what I am sure will be somewhere around $50+million right away after they draft a (#3ovr) rookie qb. Let the cap be ever in their favor next yr/2020.
  12. I disagree, respectfully... We are in fact, a prime example of exactly why you should put all of your eggs into one guy's basket (if it is a QB). If you look at the statistic for QB with the most wins (all-time) nearly all of them are first rounders. In addition, regardless of whether or not they were first or second rounders (or whatever), many were traded up or outright traded for within the top 45picks. This would signify that the team who at their current position in the draft valued said prospect (there are plenty of examples, E. Manning, J. Elway, C. Wentz, etc.) so much so that they traded up for them. Although this is a move that may not always work out however, looking at statistics for all-time wins leaders (Qb), is a move very worth taking. Especially, taken into consideration our lack to so and our correlating record of mediocrity. With that being said, we have NEVER drafted a Qb higher than 14 (Kelly) and only even come close since one time (EJ at 16, in a draft where there lacked a true no. 1). All of this only adding to the mountain of evidence that this theory is not working. I wanted to like your examples of why not to do so, but they did not make much sense for me? Dion Jordon ultimately washed out (w/Miami) for PED before his recent 'resurgence' (1st rd tender in SEA) not his lack of talent. Also if you remember the 2014 WR draft, OBJ was not valued 'slightly lower' than Sammy. Sammy was taken at 4ovr (including the additional 1st it took) and OBJ at 12 (after M. Evans) that was a huge value difference, whether agreeing with the situation or not. I do agree with you on G however. In addition to themost recent two top 10 'misses (Warmack and Cooper, who is talented but nowhere near where he was taken, rather like a 3rd rd talent) I believe that G is also a position where more often than not it is beneficial to develop talent and replace it because of the low draft position typically required to get a talented interior OL. Also, I think D. Webb has potential as a developmental project for sure but to say that he has equal potential as a #1/#2 ovr selected quarterback is asinine. It is doubtful that any of the top 2 Qb are "projects" in any similar aspect as D. Webb (with a yr or not). He may have potential but not to justify not taking the top or second rated Qb prospect off the board when given the ability to do so. Especially when he can sit for a yr or two (a la A. Rodgers) behind a HOF Qb before hitting the field. I do however hope they trade out and hook us up with the chance to right their own wrong of not selecting their future franchise Qb. Go Bills!
  13. I want to understand this but I need more. Like you said at the beginning, if you had to guess... Which you did but let me ask you a few hypotheticals, which is not to say I don’t agree with you? - what if whomever the colts want will not be there outside of the top 10, how could we have offered them that? - assuming what you said was true about our offer, who is to say that the colts wouldn’t have required a 2nd rounder this yr or a 2nd rounder (or higher) next yr? Something you said we were not providing in our offer that NYJ were. - who’s to say we don’t have a conditional deal already in place with NYG (depending on what Cleveland does w Barkley)? - who’s to say we don’t have a conditional deal in already in place for Cleveland’s #4 if they decide to choose a Qb and NYG go Barkley? I just feel like it’s kinda out there to think we’ve done all we have to the point we have to go out and think AJ McCarron or a 12ovr selected rookie (likely outside of top 4) Qb is what they have in mind. But like you said it’s all guessing and I’ll die the same way I was born, a Bills fan. So, if it is a Lamar Jackson or Mason Rudolph and we keep what we have left... I guess I just have to keep trusting the process. Regardless of how last year, it was awesome to be a fan during the last month of the season/first month of the postseason and we can be somewhat grateful to the staff for doing so with what we all thought was a gutted roster.
  14. At least were not Cleveland, poor guys... For that matter, (see Philly as of late) I would jump at the chance to have the "opportunity" to criticize a top 5 Qb for this franchise. The ONLY time we even sac'ed up enough to take 'our' guy was EJ Manuel at 16ovr. Which we can all agree franchise Qb or not we never assumed he would ever be a Peyton Manning or Ben Roethlesberger. I saw a statistic somewhere showing each franchise and their respective highest Qb taken and the correlation of success to those with the higher selected Qb is astonishing. Sure there are franchises like GB where Favre was a 2nd rd/trade and AR is a 24ovr or NE where they have literally somewhat hit on ALL of their Qbs from the last 35yrs... (Eason (1rder), Bledsoe (1ovr), and Brady (6rder)) but historically teams that draft Qb higher win more. We need that. Our highest ever was Kelly, who was ironically selected one pick ahead of Eason in 83' at #14ovr). We cant win if we do not try the same. Sometimes teams win without franchise Qbs, we clearly are not that team, or have not been for over 20yrs.. Let's swing big and just try. Btw I am fairly high and just realized how long this response was... My b, go Bills!
  15. This has everything to do with them essentially losing nothing in terms of the rebuild to move down three spots (#3ovr to #6ovr) and gain (what should be) 3 long term starters through the 2 early seconds this yr and the 1 more next yr. Also it was good business for the Jets who just ensured that they will get a crack at their 1a. or their 1b. regardless of whether we move to #1 or 2ovr or not. Real reason Indy makes this move is not because of the Jets offer v. our offer, it has everything to do with the fact that the Jets were at #6ovr and we are at #12ovr. Or maybe we have a deal for #2 w/NYG? Or maybe I don't know anything and am full of ish, who knows, lol??
  16. I would love me some DJ Chark, assuming we grab the early QB we need (still has to be one of the big 4 and preferably not Allen) and an early LB. Im just not sure that Chark will be there beyond the late first. He balled out at the Senior Bowl and shredded the Combine, plus he is not small. His measurables will get him taken earlier than we can get him by a WR-needy team at the bottom of the first. I would love me some DJ Chark and Zay working out of the slot next year.
  17. If we are going to get rid of (A.) J.Hughes or (B.) Shaq Lawson, then who will we start in their place (realistically)? I believe signing Murphy was a move to make Lawson more of the rotational guy. Lawson will play but definitely rotate as I believe Murphy will (with some of the inside depth depending on his weight next yr.) as well. Plus, literally what additional DE depth do you think we have gained to make either of our starters expendable all because we added ONE new DE??
  18. There is no way we should replace our (slower) league leading tackler with a special teams/rotational player that converted from safety two yrs ago... I loved watching him play at Arizona (I grew up in Tucson) but no thanks to that idea. I'm not sure which direction to go to replace Preston Brown but not this way.
  19. I think you almost need to now (assuming it can be done for a 4th or less) to ensure some speed/experience in the middle
  20. ^ Agreed. While I am a P. Brown homer (I understand he is slow and somewhat of a coverage liability) however, we have/had a lot of holes. Playoffs were great but our LB core depth was shallow and play left much to be desired. In fact, aside from M. Milano getting ONE interception and L. Alexander/R. Humber combined generating FOUR (3 from LorAx) total sacks, we literally generated 0 INT and 0 sacks between our LB. That is amazing to me. Knowing that we have so many holes to fill, including a highly drafted QB, it would be in our best interest to pay P. Brown on a 2yr. deal. He knows the D and would provide equally as much in leadership. More than anything, HE ALMOST NEVER MISSES PT. That is something we need desperately after R. Humber, T. Vallejo, and every other depth injury we had at LB. I really really want to add M. Kendricks to rotate at SAM and MIKE w/P. Brown and then draft the WILL that we need. Z. Brown would have been nice again too but P. Brown after the 'first wave' of FA makes too much sense NOT to resign with our terrible depth.
  21. Bringing EJ back w/the new depth (Vontae) and roll both around where necessary... drools over even better 2018 secondary....
  22. Above ^. Either way, BB.com has let me down so much since the (surprise) shut down of the mb
