  1. I mean, as a conservative in Virginia, I wouldn’t mind if this idiot was gone. That being said, I think it really doesn’t matter. This is that thing of not judging people by the sins of their far distant past. If there’s more to be discovered about him than an out of context picture, then fine. It is interesting to see some (only some) lefties treat this with some level of honesty instead of ignoring/excusing the whole thing. Obviously if it was a republican it would be all over the news and the mobs would be forming up. also, rough week all around for this idiot.
  2. This is no surprise given that Rex was a worthless, un-hirable piece of *****. Also, he went full reality tv show star at that point. It's still funny coming from the giant bust that is Reggie Bush.
  3. Interesting. I did not realize they had such a rule. I approve. I see that Mixon was not invited to the combine either. It really becomes a matter of teams seeking to do individual work on him and seeing if he can be trusted. I don't think the incident, thought horrible, should keep him from the NFL, but he must show that he has grown past that. The fact of the matter is that the NFL is not the law of the land. They're not responsible for what these guys have done in the past, they're responsible for making sure that they don't empower, enable, or excuse any behavior while these guys are wearing their colors.
  4. That's really a false sense of security though. I believe you when you say you believe it's a clear line, but the problem built into your argument is that it's still a human life whose rights are being determined by someone else. What stops the line from shifting to 3 weeks post birth. 3 months. 3 Years. Etc.
  5. I've actually never been, but my west coastie sister is always insisting that it is so I usually throw out some holy water and condemn her for being a dirty hippy.
  6. Bold: Who determines who has rights and who doesn't? How is that arbitrary definition determined? In the 1800's it was determined by those in power based on skin color. In the 1930's it was determined by those in power based on religion and ethnic background. How do these rights become determined, and by who? Underlined: I actually agree with this. I understand the anger over these recent developments, but this isn't anything new. They were killing babies anyways.
  7. No wonder. Freakin hippies and costco. I knew there was something off about you.
  8. I think that the brains behind them are evil, and the followers are stupid for not seeing that evil.
  9. The more I see about Democrats, the more I realize that wholesale retardation is on sale wherever they're shopping... I'm talking the Sams Club size containers. Buy one get one free.
  10. Why does anyone listen to that schmuck? Not only was he colossally bad at football, but every time he opens his mouth as an analyst he says some dumb *****.
  11. Stuck at a kwik-lube in Virginia watching the weather channel and from their drama level I fear Buffalo May just cease to exist...
  12. except that they would have won. I agree it wasn’t a good strategy, but the literal only reason they lost is because of the no-call. They would have either gotten first and goal, or a touchdown if the play had happened as it is supposed to.
  13. I understand what you mean, but the problem with this is that it was a close game, as it's supposed to be when you have two of the top 4 teams playing. Every play matters. Every Snap matters. Every yard matters. That's the beauty of the NFL is that it is still an every given sunday sport because each and every factor matters. Both teams made mistakes, both teams did things right. It came down to one play where the Rams made the mistake of not covering the flat, and the Saints did the right thing of seeing it and exploiting it. It should have ended the game, but instead it didn't and it reset the clock on the every given play. After that, the Saints should have won in OT, but they never should have been in OT to begin with.
  14. How have the bills (34) played the patriots more than the dolphins (33)? nevermind- update date was during a season.
  15. They don't have a QB to coach... they have a fancy running back.
  16. 15 total sacks by your top 3 edge rushers isn’t amazing... if they get a legitimate pass rusher, Lawson will be a rotational player.
  17. I've never played NFL QB, but i imagine it's like most things in life where you listen/digest hundreds of hours of "how it should be done" and then you go out and get your own hours of "how it is done." Listening to Kelly is just part of the process and it will help Allen.
  18. Yeah, problem is that, unless the dems change tactics, it’ll be a passing contest with no substance.
  19. Beto doesn’t worry me for three reasons. 1- his previous campaign is indicative of the fact that the left didn’t learn their lesson last prez cycle- you don’t win elections by having the media and famous people celebrating how happy they are that you’re going to win. there’s no evidence that blue platform 2020 won’t be the same. 2- the fact that he can’t win with that much money and media backing, even in Texas, is problematic. 3- Beto made his name by being a charismatic, relatable, every man. The problem is that trump already owns that and does it better. A Beto v. Trump debate is a personality contest, and that won’t work for Beto. all the above is my opinion, of course.
  20. Also says a lot about the DB’s that they’re willing to humble themselves in that high pressure environment in order to seek improvement.
  21. My crush is a 4 way rotation at WR between JJ Arcega-Whiteside, Deboo Samuel, Anthony Johnson, and Kelvin Harmon. Also, I go back and forth between Darrel Henderson and Devin Singletary. Essentially, I am all over the map.
