There seems to be a lot of ambiguity with the WR position this year, and that should change with the combine. One problem I have seen is that there are a lot of big, physical receivers this year and guys want to be careful overvaluing them because they aren't sure about seperation, explosion, and speed yet. Johnson seems to fall in that category.

This makes sense in a way, Eagles get compensation, Foles can still have a say in where he goes (if they let him have it) and he can negotiate his contract with the destination team before the trade is done. The only one that loses this is the buying team who now has to give up money and compensation. (the Giants also lose because they will not have a shot at him, if they did want it.)

Watson is probably a better bet, but the difference in AFC East v. South shouldn't be overlooked.

I don’t think it’s even that the bill failed. That seemed to have limited chance of going anywhere (Virginia is hard left, but our half of the state is barely holding on). I think it’s more that he brought way too much criticism down with his infanticide comments. He didn’t know what and when to state the party lines.

Honestly, it looks like two things: 1- he’s going to play baseball but he realizes that makes him a relative nobody in the grand scheme of things (Baseball doesn’t really produce transcendent stars) so he’s doing all this “maybe football” stuff to get endorsements and crap now in order to supplement some of what he loses in baseball. 2- he’s waiting for clear indication that he’ll be a top 5-15 pick in the draft before he officially decides. He won’t get that until the combine.

Hot damn this election cycle is going to be fun. Even if I pop my last bag of popcorn over the fire of western civilizations ruins as a leftist is sworn in, I will have enjoyed witnessing the constant backstabbing and B word slapping that is an democratic primary.
