That plan would have been impossible. We didn’t have the cap for it. But we could have held off on drafting a QB, gotten a few more picks. But then we are in the boat of hoping to maybe have a QB someday.

I don’t get these responses. How would you have built the roster different? Yes the roster is bad but it tells you nothing about building a roster. It only tells you they felt they needed to reset the roster.

No way has he lost the team. They came out on fire at the half. They definitely could have phoned in the last 30 minutes. Seems like Vonte realized he could not play and so he ran away.

I think that the vet QB angle is over rated. Often times the vet is more of an antagonist to the young rookie than they are a mentor.

We are as likely to take Oregon’s punter in the 1st as we are to take their QB.
