Broncos getting trade calls for Jeudy and Chubb
Process replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's not like we couldn't use some depth in the slot. Shakir should be starting. If he were to get hurt, Hamler could fill in. If Davis or Diggs got hurt, Shakir could play some outside with Hamler taking over in the slot. I'd prefer to never see McKenzie or Kumerow start another game. We have zero WR depth right now. You're right that OBJ would solve this issue, but we have no idea if he'll want to sign here, or when he will be ready. Love Hamler for a 4th/5th. -

Posted this in another thread.. KJ Hamler would be a guy I go after. Former second round pick, just turned 23yo. Would be the fastest guy on our offense and provide needed depth at WR. Had the ACL injury and otherwise has been stuck in a terrible offense and is not being used. Don't think it's fair to judge his career so far considering what he's dealt with. Sure he could stink, but there is also likely some legit potential there. Worth a 4th rd flyer. -

I probably worded it wrong. I've lost all of my grandparents and it was devastating for me and my family. Point was it's something that everyone is going to go through around Josh's age. And it was Bills fans that went way above and beyond with the donation effort and the ones deserving of recognition in this situation (in reference to Josh winning man of the year).
-
Aren't bills fans the ones that deserve it? A 20 something year old loses a grandparent which is a normal, non tragic part of life (not trying to be incentive). And Bills fans decide to donate millions and name a hospital wing after her. I always found the whole thing kind of odd. Did Allen himself make any significant donations or lead any of the efforts?

Bates needs to be moved to LG. He was solid there last year. Let Saffold suck at RG or just bench him who cares. I think there's a chance Q keeps the starting T Jon even when Brown comes back. Our first four picks in the draft next year needs to look something like OL OL WR OL. -
I agree 100%. I really hope they make it work. It's just off the top of my head I think the Chargers are the only team in the league with two $20M WRs. And they don't have a TE and QB making top money like we do. Safety and OL are definitely spots we should be looking to get younger and cheaper next year. In Beane we trust.

They definitely are not saying that. 3 points for home teams is old thinking. -
Why do we care about the Jets exactly?
-
If he stays healthy and has the year we think he will (he's currently on pace for over 1k yards despite missing a game and playing two on one leg), he will be getting $20M per minimum. You must have missed all the WR contracts that were handed out last off-season.

He has to earn his contract somehow

Last three weeks they barely beat a third string QB in OT, lost to the Giants, got blown out by the Jets. They have nowhere to go but up so yes they will improve. It won't start vs the Bills coming of a bye on SNF. -
It's going to be tough to pay him, Diggs and Knox top dollar. Hopefully Beane can figure it out. Regardless if Beane can find the money, Davis is gonna want it this off-season. If we can't make it work he could be a trade candidate, as much as that would suck.

Edit... Started this as a betting line thread last week but changed the title to make it the weekly game thread since it kind of turned into that on its own. CRUSH THE PACKERS AND RODGERS!!! ............ Going into the season I knew the Bills were the best team in the league. I would not have expected us to be more than a TD favorite vs the Packers, and wouldn't have expected me to feel confident that we win by 14+. The Packers are a bad, bad team. Obviously things could change with the Packers playing this weekend but I expect the money to be on Buffalo. Kiss 8.5 goodbye. Now -10.5. Damn.
