Not sure I understand the move by Miami as they're rebuilding and appear to be tanking Also while a very good player I don't think clowney is a player you build your team around. I see clowney as a finisher or a guy that puts a team over the top or even just into the playoffs

Idea is that the bills couldn't come to an agreement on a deal and to illustrate that the trade cost would be/could be made up by moving him ourselves, so the true cost is very little or even we could make out on the deal In an ideal world they would sign a long term deal and solidify the defensive end position for the next few years But for now we are just talking hypotheticals

In my scenario the bills would tag him after the season, holding his rights and do what the texans should have done by trading him before the deadline to sign his franchise tag. Thus allowing a team to sign him long term

What ever a team trades for clowney they will be able to flip him next off season if they dont want to sign him long term. I'm really interested in clowney because of this reason, right now it sounds as if youd be getting clowney cheap. If thats the case we can then flip him after the season for more plus get an upgrade at defensive end for this coming season. Soumds like a win to me Ie. if we trade a 2nd for him today, we could definitely get a 2nd plus at the end of the season when teams can actually sign him long term

Wouldn't shock me if he just takes a year or two off and comes back. Sounds like he is trying to break the cycle he is currently in of play, get injured hurry back get hurt again hurry back get hurt again. Plus the xfl will definitely be calling

Lamar Miller was just carted off the field injured, now we can add mccoy/gore/yeldon to zay and neseke

The biggest thing for me is the bills playing speed, it's been on a different level than both of their opponents thus far. I'm starting to believe its because the team is good rather than just playing harder than its opponents. It could be as much as this bills team is deep at a lot of positions especially on defense and that is creating competition thus faster harder playing

What about practice squad player non protected ? Or is it automatically protected if he is on the practice squad? Considering he is in his late 20s it would be beneficial for him not to be protected if a team wants to give him a shot

Honest question to all saying preseason doesn't matter, for say the last 19 years have the bills ever looked good in preseason? Or has it always been average to below average? Because id say for once the bills look good and I have no clue what it means

Offensive guys are all the rage Also I could definitely see frazier get hired somewhere. Sadly he'd probably be that teams second option but could see him get another shot How close is frazier to the "hey I'm happy being a DC but this team would pay me x amount more dollars, can you up my pay by a million or 2?" Point in life. I got to imagine fairly close especially if the bills continue to turn it around and challenge for titles
