One of my favorite parts of last game was when Romo highlighted the fact that Minnesota adjusted their defense to two high safeties.
I do think green bay starts with a similar game plan. One of these weeks Allen's gonna hit a couple deep shots to foster
I think you will start to see this with a lot of guys like flacco or a guy like Carr. The qb's that are good solid starters but not worth the long term big money commitment. Teams will never trade a guy that's a Brady Rodgers brees mvp type qb as these guys make the team.
This is why we cut him, he will get signed and spread mis information about the bills
He will be integral to taking down the pats from the inside!
On a serious note, he is the type of receiver they seem to like
As pure passes made. No defense on the field as well as other offensive players. Then I can agree with what thad is saying. But as soon as you add teammates and a defense peterman cant hold any qb's lunch right now
But anyways Thad is trolling trying to make a bigger name for himself in the local media
What if he doesn't? Does the current franchise tag slide? Ie the steelers dont have to re tag him, he is just under this current tag until he reports? Also what does this do to the steelers cap? Is his contract included?
(Not necessarily asking you/singling you out as I got 3 responses with the same message yours just happened to be the last one)
Yes it is. But if he can get more guaranteed next year it might be smart long term(health and guaranteed money wise).
Especially when you think about how many times he touches the ball for Pittsburgh
If we have number 1, best case scenario in my opinion is trade down to 3 or 4 pick up additional picks and take either the left over bosa/oliver if the trade up was for qb or take one of the highly rated offensive tackles coming out
You can't really answer this question until next season. Its very obvious the plan from the start was to start fresh, clear the cap and get a salary structure in place going forward
We will see how they do
why does this story come out every year?
An nfl offensive line(even the bills current one) would look hall of fame quality against a college team
An NFL defensive line would too against a college offensive line.
If the bills go 0-16 and look like they did in the second half he won't be fired but if they go 0-16 and play like they played the first 6 quarters of the season you bet someone is getting fired
That's a great pension plan they have
Do players have to be vested to get in? Or as long as you have an accrued season?
Does the cba end before the nfl's 100th season or after?
Jordan poyer signing was actually credited to a coach the bills/McDermott hired. He told Whaley to get him.
There is one of those inside the bills videos about poyer last year that went into more detail
