This is something I noticed against the Bengals and really stood out against the dolphins and even today was very noticeable. For whatever reason the play calling goes bad once we hit mid field. They have 2 plays a corner that takes them to the 15ish yard line or that reverse/motion play. It's very predictable

I agree. I don't think Allen has been bad, but he certainly hasn't been good either The real question I guess comes down to is he progressing? Is on schedule or behind scheduling of development? I would say he is slightly behind schedule in his development. Just too many plays left on the field right now especially in the first 3 quarters of the game. But he is becoming automatic in 4th quarters which is a great sign

Yes. That is widely known I just imagine that teams have scripts for 4th quarter drives depending on the situation Admittedly script is probably a poor word choice Ie they practice these plays more often, and know which series of plays they will go to in the fourth depending on the situation.

I'm guessing one of the reasons he does better in the fourth while behind is that the plays are more "scripted" or practiced throughout the week
