The biggest issue with a downtown Stadium is mainly the sky way. Its in the way and would be a nightmare getting to and from downtown for a football game with 80k fans Looking at a map it seems currently key bank center is the pegulas "home base" with the arena harbor center 716 the hotels and now the labatt house expanding its reach Again just looking at a map what is pegulas connection to the bisons? Do they have one? Do NFL teams share fields any more? What about the buffalo news? This would be where id be looking to expand. My prediction is the Stadium stays in orchard park and the sabres arena is built next to the current location

At the time of the draft I would have taken darnold. I had it Mayfield Darnold Rosen then Allen and Jackson. I thought the top three were guys you trade up for and Jackson and Allen were guys you stood pat for. Now without question I take Allen above all but Mayfield. Allen's drive to win and competitiveness are extremely high. He also seems to be very open to learning and very coachable. He kinda reminds me of Ryan Fitzpatrick except with more advanced raw skills

My underlining message of my post was lets take it one game at a time, not worry about what other teams are doing. Lets take care of business on our end and things will generally work themselves out. To comment on the bolded first part: why can't you do it the other way around? Allen looks rough bring in Barkley? Second part of the bolded, this is why you are starting to see the younger guys get more playing time

Not a fan of the cover one post here. Seems a little bit finding a play to fit a narrative. (Directed at cover one not you) The post by tabbot on that play I yelled at the tv to never let that bum on the field again ha Benjamin in my opinion shouldn't even be activated on game days especially if they want to go young. I wonder if they are worried he would become a bigger distraction if they deactivated him?

I believe he has said his dream job is an nfl gm job. It was on one of those get to know the bills, that the bills social media puts out. If he wants to continue to play he needs to get on a practice squad and go from there. He is a second year 5th rounder who has had multiple starts already someone is going to be intrigued

Start Josh Allen (healthy) or Matt Barkley?
Cheektowaga Chad replied to TonyBeets's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
In my opinion the bye week makes this a tough question. If the bills had a game this Sunday id say ride the hot hand in Barkley and let Allen continue to heal. What i like about this is that the rest of the season can be Allen's "second season" or a season reboot. He was never supposed to come in and play as early as he did. He now has had the opportunity to watch and learn. Take the 2 weeks prepare like its a season opener, see where he is at -

Josh Allen expected to start against the Jaguars

when they show him during games he is always taking notes. Hopefully he has learned from something -
This is why I'd like to see the bills run a hurry up at least at home. This is how a lot of college teams run the offense now. You don't snap the ball early but you're lined up ready to go Get lined up as quick as possible, have a coach help Allen/peterman initially read the defense.

McDermott isn't going anywhere....
Cheektowaga Chad replied to TwistofFate's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I really do believe this regime is thinking long term. I expect them to target one maybe two high priced free agents and roll a decent amount of cap space over to the following year. -

I think McDermott's job comes into question if the defense gives up and stops playing for him.
