  1. I didn't love it and it wasn't a good look, but I wish him all the best. We can't love Mayfield for his list and hate Rosen for this.
  2. I definitely don't know for sure. I think they really Groy, otherwise I'm not sure they would have matched that contract. I really like Groy as a guard, but I do think he played well at center as well. I also think that McDermott is likely pretty well liked because they kept him on the 53 man all year and he really did not play. McDermott was projected to go higher in the draft than he did and he has some potential. Most draft reports said he was going to need a year to gain strength, so I think he could be a sleeper at RT. Juan Castillo has typically had great success with projects like him. I don't know much about Wesley, but I think he followed Castillo from Baltimore to Buffalo. I love Hernandez as well, but I am not sure we can get up for him. I will say that the zone teams in the NFL are not going to like him, so that basically takes about half the teams out of the running for Hernandez. I could see him falling a bit more.
  3. I think we have six picks left
  4. Yep. About half the board swore Mason Rudolph would go in the first and that we should pick him at 12. All unsurprisingly silent today.
  5. I think It's O-line (C-G-RT) DT 3 tech WR TE CB RB
  6. I could see it. Last year they came away with what, 5 players? I could see them taking the same strategy. Honestly they filled the two biggest holes for the franchise so I think the rest of this draft is gravy at this point. I think they overpaid by a second round pick to TB, so I wish they could have kept that pick. Other than that I think they got good value and grabbing Edmunds is awesome.
  7. Oh nice! I actually didn't realize that. I would love it.
  8. I think he could definitely play either, but I think they will plug him in as a MIKE. Bob Babich seemed to be really excited about him in some of those war room videos. I know people wanted to paint LVE as the next Brian Urlacher because he is a white guy and is similar in size. If you look at the measurables, this guy Edmunds is basically Urlacher in terms of potential and athletic profile. I think that is what Babich and McDermott see. I know I am comparing him to a HOF player, but that is what he could be. Playing him at the SAM would be a waste of his talents and athleticism in my honest opinion. They could play him there early, ala Shaq Thompson to get him acclimated, put I think you plug him in at MIKE right now. Zone defenses require a lot of length. Quarterbacks try to find those holes between the Mike linebacker and the safety, or between the corners and the safeties. That's why Mcdermott values long corners and having a 6-5 MIKE with 35 inch arms and runs a 4.54 makes it more difficult for quarterbacks to fit the ball in those windows. It basically makes them tighter. Edmunds is a bit raw, but the signing of Star Lotulelei is going to protect him and allow him to make a million plays. I love this pick. I honestly hope the Bills still draft another backer like Fred Warner later in the draft as well to go along with Milano and Edmunds.
  9. Good read thanks for sharing. Allen being honest and open about the whole thing tells you something about his character. Doesn't excuse it, but he owned up.
  10. I hate ESPN, but honestly they show better highlights and their analysis is pretty good. I'm excited about Herbstreit being on teh show. I love Mayock, but the NFL network coverage has gotten way worse over the years and the commercials are just way too much. Now I pretty much switch back and forth on day 1 and watch ESPN for day 2 and 3, because they actually show highlight for the players.
  11. Good read and good analysis for a guy who has done it.
  12. I'd love to see him and Sammy Watkins carry on a conversation with Ellis Lankster moderating.
  13. I'm just poking fun at people talking about how gritty Mayfield was because he got rejected and made a revenge list and Rosen is a spoiled brat. Perhaps if Rosen made a list, with Stanford at the top, he would see more edgy and gritty.
  14. Its crazy! A huge reach!
  15. We should definitely consider those guys at 12!
  16. Jeez another guy who forgot to put Mason Rudolph in his top fifty. What's wrong with all of these guys?
  17. Hmmm not sure I trust this. Do we know for a fact that he can count?
  18. BB is clearly doing SF a solid. He knows Cooks is a cancer and will ruin the Rams from within, weakening a division rival for SF. Defitely part of the handshake agreement.
  19. Agreed. I think it's a risk reward proposition. I'm taking a shot on a possible Cam, not some guy who could be Drew Stanton. I think his his issues are fixable and I thought of this when Beane said that all of these guys are flawed, that you have to decide what you are willing to deal with. I think they think they can coach him up.
  20. I get where you are coming from. I just don't think the value is there this year. Many people believe there are something like 15-20 1st round players. I think it is a very tough ask to get a team in the top 15 to take 2 picks outside of the top 20. I just don't buy the narrative. I also don't think BB will trade up for a quarterback. I think he takes a guy to develop, like Luke Falk or Lauletta later in the draft.
  21. This is like when Negan gave the wrong plans to Dwight knowing he would send them to Rick. Great way to smoke out leaks.
  22. I don't buy this narrative. The Patriots' picks do not hold a ton of value., according to many reports, nobody really wants picks in the 20s. This is less BB doing them a favor and more BB doing Garoppolo a solid. BB didn't want to send him to Cleveland. It says something about BB's ability as a coach if guys like Garopoplo and Brissett can go be good somewhere else. Maybe BB is still pissed at Cleveland. Maybe he really likes Garoppolo. Maybe he owed Mike Shanahan one from back in the day.
