  1. I think both arguments have merit. Joe B is continously glazing Rousseau for years now and I can't make the case that he doesn't know ball at a higher level than most. At the same time I get the criticism that a defensive end isn't generally the position I associate with non-production. I think fans are smart enough to view a giant nosetackle or a fullback or a longsnapper as having value that is not tied to stats. A nosetackle could do his job and eat up a huge amount of space and not even record a tackle. If Rousseau is truly as dominant at run defense as is claimed he might be worth the money. Baked into that has to be the assumption that these other teams are ripping off these huge runs by running away from this guy. Its possible.
  2. it can be fun depending on the result to be honest. Obviously tonight was terrible, last week it was awesome.
  3. Curtis Samuel has been straight trash for us and a waste of money. I had hopes for him but hes nothing but a JAG. Elijah is better but they keep running those dumb jet plays I feel like he knows more routes than that.
  4. Agree Diggs was a lost cause with the Bills. I think just some very obvious dumb decisions by the GM. Mack Hollins costs nothing in the grand scheme of things and he would get open deep and made really smart plays all the time. Beane was penny wise and pound foolish with a player like that.
  5. maybe the reason he didnt see the field is they realized he had Bambi legs that would snap after 3 plays.
  6. big jeff would be awesome
  7. They are far from the worst. The Chargers have horrific injuries every year and their medical people actually punctured Tyrod Taylor's lung thats how incompetent they are. The Bills have been snake bitten this year on the Defense but have had marvelous luck on the Oline and yes at Quarterback. Importantly the playing surface will be grass at the new stadium so I hope that will have a role in protecting Bills players.
  8. Elam is a cataclysmic bust. A few years earlier and I would say drafting him was what caused the dinosaurs to go extinct. Dallas is starving for corners and with him playing, WRs are wide open running down the middle of the field.
  9. Ah yes the Bills well known for their 'blessed' existence. The pope might root for the Bills but it sure seems like his boss roots for KC
  10. his ceiling is lower than Josh Allen's but objectively he outplayed him last night.
  11. Meh might be something but looks like a JAG who says "Eh"
  12. I know for sure I was hoping the Bills got a WR instead of any other position. I'm not going to retroactively say that the Bills messed up by not getting not DeJean. They really needed an impact WR who would produce right away. He didn't unfortunately. They also needed an impact safety who would produce right away. He didn't unfortunately. Hopefully next year these players will mature and thrive
  13. I'd be willing to give Cooper a year deal if he'd take it or possibly willing to extend if he'd take less to stay with us. I feel like his and Josh's chemistry can develop further and honestly he has a very mature attitude.
  14. Yes! Thank you. They need a FS. Hamlin had some good moments but they never replaced Hyde's output to say the least. Elam is finished at least on the Bills I hope he finds success elsewhere because WOW. I actually think the secondary isn't as bad as an integrated unit as the pff rankings suggest. The Dline is overpaid and doesn't help the secondary to the extent they should. I could see a really good FS having a big impact.
  15. Buffalo's Nickel Defense against Kansas City is known as the Smashed Penny.
  16. 24- BUFFALO BABY 17- Kansas
  17. Blah blah blah. its what we do because we are the BILLS MAFIA.
  18. The Great Red Dragon will fall.
  19. Yes he's capable as well.
  20. I think if Codrington can't go this week Ty Johnson would fill in admirably. Assuming a Bills win Codrington will likely be fine for the next week to assume his regular duties. I don't think the game will come down to a muffed punt. If I have to say what is more likely I think the Bills blowing out the Broncos is more likely than them losing. If the Broncos are punting in general that is a bad thing because possessions are critical.
  21. The best part is Codrington is practicing today. OP did you pick up this take when you saw it wallowing in the mud? Thanks
  22. He usually hits a few really good throws a game. Can't really ask for more than that from a rookie. He definitely has talent.
  23. I think their LBs aren't too healthy. They made quite a few mistakes on defense overall. I do not think the Bills pushed as hard as they could have and NE gave everything they had. This game was very similar to what KC has been doing all this season. They kind of just muddled through and waited for NE to make the critical mistakes they ended up making. Someone made a great point in that this is what the Brady Patriots did to the Bills. The Bills would play better than the Pats but would still lose. Now the roles are reversed where a C effort against them is enough to defeat them.
  24. Yeah I'd love for these sourpuss fans on this board to go out and have fun but that would require they touch grass.
