Ohhhh... I thought he was calling JD Vance a douche from the talk he gave today.

And that's what's really important. How you feel about things and people.

Douche that just closed a multi-trillion dollar trade deal.

India has a lot to gain, but so do we. The historical distrust has everything to do with the Truman administration aligning with Pakistan during the partition. That's ancient history, and our shared stance against Islamic terrorism and Chinese expansion make this partnership a no-brainer. India historically aligned with Russia during the Cold war because of our support of Pakistan. But now India has pivoted away from Russian military hardware and is investing in US hardware. Not to mention, India shares a 3,500 kilometer border with China, who has been threatening to seize India's most sacred site for strip mining. As the US and Chinese economy decouples, it stands to reason that a partnership between the US and India fill the void.

As the trade deal between the US and India is nearly finalized, it appears the Trump and Modi administrations have agreed to far deeper ties as it pertains to the production of energy, technology and military capabilities. India has surpassed China as the most populated country in the world, while China is seeing massive population decline. On a personal note, a very close liberal friend of mine is rooting for Europe, Canada and Mexico to align with China and take the US down. Here's an alternative vision- the US / India alliance.

Bills trade Cordy Glenn to Bengals
Motorin' replied to SageAgainstTheMachine's topic in The Stadium Wall
I literally spent half the summer of 2019 arguing with a gaggle of dweebs who were insistent that drafting Josh Allen was the worst mistake in franchise history and they had the math to prove it. I was I could find those threads. -

This is pretty much my thinking as well. Of course there's always the chance that a difference maker falls into the 20's promoting Beane to try to move up... Or he's too nervous about losing his CB pick if he trades back, so stays out and drafts a 2nd round graded CB at 30...
-
If there is a way to trade back (in the real world) and walk away with Amos and Grant I think that would be amazing.
-
Actively try to bring about the worst case scenario, and characterizing ever possible thing in what worst possible outcome. They'd rather have the country die than admit Trump did anything right.
-
I was a lot higher on Kyler Gordon then Elam. And it's a shame Beane traded up. So many starting CB's came out of rounds 2-4 in that draft.

The spending deficit is up over the first six months of the government fiscal year, which started October 1, 2024 and ended March 31st. So literally three months of Biden's presidency, and three months of Trump. And you're blaming the April tariffs, which don't even fall into the timeline... Meanwhile, Biden added 9 trillion in debt in four years. Shocking that the interest on debt is higher now than four years ago.

Dart is my #2 QB, but as GM of the Browns in the draft 1.0 I couldn't pass on Carter. They have jags on the Dline except for Garrett, and pairing him with Carter makes them scary as hell... Had Ward been there like in 2.0 I would have taken him as well. I also don't get the Travis Hunter hype, and can't see spending a premium draft pick on a 180 lbs "iron man." I was hoping Dart would last until #33. But that's unlikely. I think he'll rightly be viewed as this year's Bo Nix. I ended up taking Will Howard at the bottom of the 3rd round. I think he has the athletics and size to do some of the things Josh can do, and like Josh, he'll have to fix his throwing mechanics to succeed at the next level. I'm not staying Howard has the same talent as Josh by any stretch of the imagination. But he has been clocked hitting 22mph on runs downfield, and he's a big dude that executes the short to intermediate passing game with divisiveness and efficiency. I like his prospects better than his combined performance.
-
With the 94th pick of the draft, the Cleveland Browns select: Will Howard, QB, The Ohio State University. He has the athleticism and leadership to compete for the starting position. He has some mechanical issues to fix, but will operate the Browns offense with efficiency and add an element to their run game... The Chiefs and @scuba guy are on the clock. @Virgil already made my pick...

Are you really trying to say that a tariff is being treated worse than Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Or maybe your emotions have overtaken your rational thinking. -
With the 67th pick of the Draft (1.0) the Cleveland Browns select: Jalen Royals, WR, Utah State The Browns now have a legitimate wr to pair with Jerry Jeudy... The Raiders and @BuffaloBillyG are on the clock.

Josaiah Stewart is not someone I've looked at, until seeing this. Almost a 40% win rate, 9 sacks for Michigan last year. He's basically the same size as Jerry Hughes. Could be an interesting 2nd round edge.
