I agree that no one is invading Texas anytime soon. Would be stupid as hell. But I think you're a seriously underestimating the Ukrainians. They've been at war with Russia for the last 8 years. The Battle of Kyiv is starting soon: https://kyivindependent.com/national/russia-concentrates-military-power-for-kyiv-assault/

Lavrov is male, therefore Lavrov is cloning men. Meanwhile, Russia disinformation campaigns have a long history. Back in 1983, they launched Operation Denver. A global campaign the spread the rumor that the US created HIV and infected Africa. https://direct.mit.edu/jcws/article-abstract/23/3/4/106859/Operation-Denver-The-East-German-Ministry-for?redirectedFrom=fulltext

By the numbers Ukraine's active duty military is about the same number as the Russian invading force, about 200k. Then they have 100k reservists, and 100k veterans. Add to that the people's militia aka territorial defense force, and they outnumber Russia 4 to 1. The Russian advantage is in the number of tanks, planes, artillery and missles. Which is why they are using ambush tactics. I think we have to remember that Ukraine landmass is the size of Texas with 15 million more people. I can't imagine how an invading force of 200k could possibly take the state of Texas. Because like in Ukraine, we know the entire state would fight. So the 200k Russian force is up against 400k Ukrainians soldiers, a militia, and the 40 million citizens that haven't fled.

Pfizer Files for Removal from NYSE (NOT TRUE)

So this is not Pfizer requesting to be delisted? -
Berrios had an almost identical first 3 seasons as Beasley. The difference being, Bease had Dak throwing to him while Berrios had Darnold, what his name and what's his name throwing to him. Berrios could be a 60 plus reception guys, take over the jet sweep McKenzie role and end our nightmare returner situation. Hopefully for a minimal price.

Russia's are being threatened with 15 years imprisonment for saying the word "war" or "invasion."

The major issue of Donetsk and Luhansk is that only about a third of those regions were Russian controlled. Ukrainians who want to live in Ukraine inhabit the other two thirds. It would sort of be like if Erie and Niagra country declared their independence from NY State and then demanded that every other county past Syracuse had to be given to Erie and Niagra.
-
They want Ukraine to formally declare those regions independent, and permenantly cede Crimea to Russia. They've been fighting over these areas for 8 years. Russia couldn't fall back to those areas immediately if they wanted to, they're kind of stuck. Between their columns running out of fuel, Ukrainians targeting their fuel supply and strategicly blowing up their columns, the major roads are blocked by broken down Russian equipment... Plus Putin would be humiliated if he did call for his troops to fall back... But yes, Russia wants more than those three regions. They also demand permenant Ukraine neutrality. Something that Ukraine is open to... The Foreign Ministers are set to meet in Turkey on Thursday. This could be over soon.

Important Developments today. Russia has backed off requiring Zelinskyy to be removed as a term of their demands. Which means they've gone from demanding total surrender and regime change, to threatening total loss of statehood, to asking for just the 3 parts of the country they were already occupying. This is a major sign that the costs of this war are piling up. Zelinskyy said today that Ukraine was open to compromise on Crimea, Dontesk and Luhansk, and that military neutrality is on the table. But said the Russians must negotiate, not give ultimatums. https://www.themoscowtimes.com/2022/03/08/ukraines-zelenskiy-says-open-to-compromise-with-russia-on-crimea-separatist-territories-a76821

Ukraine has opened a volunteer portal for anyone to go fight (outside of Russian citizens). I've read that 16,000 people have signed up so far... I've seen footage of young American and British citizens travelingto and gettgin read to cross the border.

From the sound of it, they don't think the Russians can hold the ground they've gained. They are dug in for a war of attrition with 40 million vs 200k. As sad as it's been, it's going to get a lot sadder before this ends. As of right now, the Ukrainians are holding out for full territorial integrity.
-
The major sticking point is Russia is demanding Crimea permanently to Russia, and Ukraine officially recognize Dontensk & Luhansk as independent Republics. Would kind of like a demand that Florida belongs to Russia and Maine and Rhode Island are independent. Ukraine won't agree to that.
-
I do think we have to start taking the possibility very seriously that Russia is only after a military buffer zone. When you look at the Eastern Ukrainian border, it's barely 300 miles to Moscow. A modern hypersonic missile could hit the Russian capital in less than 2 minutes from there, giving NATO a first strike capability that would pose as an existential threat. The humanitarian thing to do is end this war with the Zellinsky regime intact and a pledge for Ukrainian military neutrality. No NATO missiles in Ukraine should end this God forsaken calamity.
-
Will Kyiv even contemplate this offer? If they decide to hold out, and the Russians can squeeze their capital and starve them out, the terms could get much worse. Meeting of the Foreign Ministers Thursday in Turkey. Could we see a negotiated end by the end of the week? I think we should use China's support of this war against the Ukrainian people to turn this around. And it should start with an international investigation into the origins of CV-19.
-
Trying to look at this situation objectively is sad and sickening. What we'll never know is if the invasion would have still occured had Ukraine vowed military neutrality and only economic partnership with the EU. But what we do know is that American politicians from both parties pushed NATO expansion, and Ukraine overwhelmingly voted for it.

Which WR do you think the Bills will draft?
Motorin' replied to Milanos Milano's topic in The Stadium Wall
I could see it, if they think the player is a #1 wr in 3-4 years, when Diggs hits 33-34.
