  1. Logically, he was indeed "blocked into the QB" because his imminent trajectory without the block would not have hit the QB.
  2. I thought Jokiharju looked awful in preaseason, too. Very surprised and happy with his heady, steady play. He can really skate and pass. Didn't at all like him on the first OT threesome though, even though they eventually controlled the puck most of the time.
  3. Unless it’s for MTV Spring Break, I don’t get it.
  4. Sheary is day to day with upper body. That’s why ERod is taking his place in lineup as of now.
  5. Didn't Duke get kicked off of a team and all but ruin his career and life because of a bar fight? I think he punched four people. Just sayin.'
  6. In Star's and other players cases, it is often because of the large contract in combination with perceived subpar play. I understand it to some degree but on every team every year there are about one third that outplay their contract, one third about right and one third that underperform. Fans seem to want all of the guys that play way better than their deals but none of the under-performing ones. You can't have it all.
  7. It's possible that he meant the safety bit hard on the play action fake, which he did, otherwise he would have been in the lane that the pass traveled through so easily to Duke. That's not really blown coverage as much as good execution by the Bills.
  8. Not to mention that tackles for Star is a worthless stat under any circumstances. I don't think he is playing great, nor close to his contract, but he is fine right now the way the defense is playing.
  9. The new O'Leary! McD said that Singletary was really close to playing, but the condition of the field and the fact there was a bye coming up made them choose not to suit him up. He was very close to playing and was literally a game time decision. I would be shocked if he doesn't play in the Miami game unless further injury happens. Perry is a ST only guy regardless.
  10. In the lines this morning it was Sheary I think. Methinks the OT should start with Jack and Olofsson. Then you can go with Reinhart centering Skinner. And then Mojo with Vesey or Sheary.
  11. Sounds like it with some of you sitting around the pool watching the Bills game, probably drinking pina coladas at Trader Victor’s.
  12. Bills fans are invading Croatia like they did Nashville.
  13. He had a career 4.0 per carry on Jax which is pretty average but not godawful, and better than Fournette had on that same team. Granted, Fournette had the short yardage carries but still. I’m not saying he’s good but he’s a pretty good #3 back.
  14. He did have two carries for 15 yards including an important 11 yarder for first down in last drive which was a nice run. He’s not a good runner but he’s not godawful.
  15. Zay Jones timing his jump for a pass?
  16. He was awful. He couldn’t come up with anything intelligible on the spot.
  17. In his first game, which was a preseason game with the Eagles, Miller said Dick Vermeil tears up quicker than Sylvia Plath being pepper-sprayed.” That’s genius.
  18. It really was. Not that it was extremely difficult but it was very nice dropback, look, step into throw and right on target for a TD, something we obviously all want more of. I also think it was a wise call by Daboll. I have no idea of knowing this but it seems to me that the Titans knew who he was, planned for him being out there especially in the redzone and very probably, especially with him isolated on one side, for it to be a jump ball into the corner pattern. That may be exactly why it was relatively easy for Duke to take one step out and then cut hard back in, because the CB was expecting the out. Who knows but that is immediately what I thought on the pattern. That it was a great call to be low and in instead of high and out.
  19. Happy birthday yung un... very nice analysis. Not having any glaring weaknesses is the key so far. methinks Bojo stinks. He’s slow to get kicks off. He’s erratic as hell. Not good inside 20 or 10 or angling. It’s not always fair to compare but outside of one, the Titan punter put them right where he wanted them.
  20. Thx for link. I loved that play design, call and setup.
  21. Together, that makes a grand total of zero sense. If he didn't have confidence in his team getting 5 yards on fourth. Where is this confidence in them to go the length of the field to win? It was a muttonhead decision from a muttonhead.
  22. But he was the direct cause. Without being cut and flipped he does not touch the Qb. The second sentence is flat wrong.
  23. All those heroics and 10 points.
  24. The momentum was the direct result of the block causing the flip.
