I thought it was a finger. He hurt it on a pass play. There were more than two times later in the game he was pulling on it. It bothered him awhile but didn't seem to bother any throws.
Yup. Way different 4-1 versus 3-2 with then the Titans 3-2 and tiebreaker. Not to mention 4-1 with three straight home games coming, two of which against bad teams.
One of the reasons passing is successful on first is because it's a run down. If teams did it all the time, like this suggests, those numbers would go down quickly. I bet the best average for a runner is third and long.
Two were sneaks, one was a designed run, and a couple were kneel downs at the end I think.
We had mostly zero blocking in the run game until the last drive, which was huge. But it was mostly awful before the last three minutes.
It sure didn't seem like there was all kinds of receivers running wild and open in the secondary that he missed. The Titans played good coverage most of the game. He did well.
While I agree with your last sentence on both accounts, I’m not sure Okposo was saying anything about the deficiencies of Housley but rather the strengths of Krueger. I read endless quotes about RK saying that exact thing that had nothing to do with Housley. Granted, Housley made it tougher on players who were thinking too much to their detriment. But I don’t think Okposo was referencing last year at all. Just my opinion.
Everyone says that about Ralph. He could be great for us.
I don’t know if he is far more elusive and he is my favorite non-Bill in the league. Josh eludes guys with such ease sometimes that it seems normal or routine when it’s not. He’s a different kind of runner for sure.
