  1. welp, I’m out. No but seriously, that sucks. Though I understand why it was decided.
  2. unfortunately a lot of underinformed people still think of CNN as the fair, impartial “news” channel compared to MSNBC on the left and Fox News on the right.
  3. lol. This reminded me of the guy who was on here a couple years ago (since banned, I believe) who made a post asking all Trump supporters to make a video detailing why they voted for him 😂😂😂
  4. Jacksonville. The Jags are playing the Phins in London this year.
  5. lol. Not even 8 hour shifts… could probably find some people willing to work 4-hr shifts scanning tickets and working the metal detectors, if you offered enough $/hr. Yeah, there’s some training involved (especially for the latter I would imagine), but still…
  6. gotta wonder if hiring, say, 40 more employees to work a few hours each home game at the entry gates at, say, $35 an hour would eat into the Pegulas’ lifestyle budget a noticeable amount. Obviously they already have our money, but it sure would be nice if they could push more people through the gates in a timely manner.
  7. “shooting his shot”
  8. look at that big, beautiful broadcast area for our game. ((Licks lips while rubbing hands together vigorously))
  9. lol, I still have flashbacks to that game in 2016 where Le’veon Bell ran for like 200 yards against us. We had no answer for him. I have a feeling Najee won’t do QUITE as well as that on Sunday!
  10. hope you’re right! I guess Bills fans would be more predisposed to paying secondary market prices this year than years past. I’m in Section 112 for this one, hopefully I’m not surrounded by black and yella.
  11. I’ve always liked Julian Edel….. wait a second… 😖
  12. Omg, lol. I’m still scarred from the West Herr commercials where he pronounces vehicle “vee-HICK-ull”.
  13. thanks - will try that. Hopefully I’m sober enough to find Gate #7 😂
  14. are any gates known to be better (shorter lines) than the rest? Gate 4 took a pretty long time back in 2019 during the home opener. We lined up around 12:15 and didn’t make it in til 5-10 minutes before kickoff.
  15. why do you have to be parked next to each other? The group without the TV / other heavy equipment can just mosey on over and hang with you.
  16. lotta Steelers are gonna have mom’s spaghetti on their black and yellow jerseys come Sunday afternoon! haha. Calla the Bills directly, they should be able to hook you up. BTW, the line in that email about “all tickets are mobile-only” is patently false… Ticketmaster gave the option of standard paper tickets shipped to your house. At least during the initial round of on-sale back in the spring.
  17. Email received from the Bills regarding some logistics for those attending the game: “We are so excited to be hosting fans at full capacity for our opening game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on September 12. We wanted to provide some information about gate entry so you can prepare ahead of time. Like many businesses right now, we are experiencing some staffing challenges and our game day personnel will need to operate even more efficiently than normal to make gate entry run smoothly. As a result, we recommend that you enter the stadium much earlier than you may be accustomed to in order to be in your seats for kickoff. To help make sure you don’t miss kickoff, we are opening the gates 30 minutes earlier beginning at 11:00 a.m. We strongly recommend that you arrive at the gate entry area no later than 12:00pm. Anyone arriving to the gates after 12:00pm could be in jeopardy of missing kickoff. Additionally, all points of sale including the parking lots and inside the stadium are now cashless transactions – this is to ensure safety, efficiency and convenience for our staff and fans. Lastly, all tickets are now mobile, so it will be important to do the following: • Add your ticket (and parking if applicable) to your phone’s digital wallet in advance to avoid slow or weak Wi-Fi or cellular signals at the stadium. • Make sure you have a full battery charge before you head to the stadium. • If you are attending with guests, transfer each person their own ticket in advance. Thank you and we can’t wait to see you for the game!”
  18. haha yep pretty much!
  19. Alright, next up we have Bill from West Seneca. He sounds just like the last dozen callers… older-middle-aged and slightly inebriated. Go ahead, Bill!!!
  20. the Washington Nationals shortstop is playing Offensive Line for the Steelers?!?
  21. it’s very possible. As long as our defense progresses, however, we’re still a 12-14 win team.
  22. oh yeah, California would totally be doomed if a Republican were governor. Totally.
