IF Araiza is innocent, and he’s cut / blacklisted over something he didn’t do… it’s a scenario where a player who likely had a somewhat long NFL career ahead of him got it pulled out from under his feet.
They might struggle against the Rams, since that’s the best receiving corps we face all year (at least on paper), plus it’s opening day and things can get kind of shaky one way or the other… as we found out last season against the Steelers. Woof.
and really, is it going to make TOO much of a difference to our expected Pts Against if we grab a slightly-below-average punter vs having Araiza hang around?
