  1. Shows u how bad a coach Adam gase really is
  2. I thought Metcalf was going to be a good pro ..some people harped on his combine agility numbers but I thought he would be a Dez Bryant 3 route type of wr slants verticals comebacks none which require great agility . He has superb speed and size .
  3. Daboll at times like the first quarter calls the game the way that meshes best with Allen's play style ...I don't know why we continually go away from that and go back to empty sets where Allen has to scan the field it's not a strength at this stage of his career ..I've said this before I just think he's the wrong oc for Allen if u want to get the most out of him you need to design an offence for him the way the Ravens have with Jackson ..trying to turn him into a disciplined pocket passer who makes the correct reads against exotic blitzes is when he does things like pirouettes into massive sacks and etc .
  4. I'm embarrassed ...our offence much maligned for the whole season they weren't perfect but they elevated their play ..we were up 16-0 the performance of the defence was inexcusable the tackling and lack of execution the 3rd and 18 goes down historically as one of the worst defensive Downs in bills history . I'm just disgusted especially for a team built around a stout defence .
  5. Hate the run call there we gotta go for the kill hopefully it doesn't cost us we should be up 17
  6. The only conservative great coach I can think of would be from soccer Jose Mourinho ..I agree with your premise though ..Sean needs to add aggressiveness to his repertoire Everytime we get ahead we basically go into clock wasting mode up 17-13 the gameplan needed more aggressiveness not conservative clock management .
  7. Every team that has beat the pats in the past few years has beat them by having an aggressive mindset we come in with this super conservative gameplan on offence and defence.
  8. Horrendous ball placement there...inside lucky it wasn't undercut by the DB
  9. Yup and the fact he's still growing in terms of processing what he is seeing he often times pulls the trigger a hair too late instead of making a anticipatory throw which he gets away with at times due to sheer velocity on his throws . It's all just a learning process I'm encouraged with what I've seen from Josh this season just needs more reps and experience .
  10. It's inconsistent mechanics he just needs to continue to get reps...at Wyoming his base was completely wrong when throwing and his footwork was consistently incorrect ...he worked with Jordan Palmer and ofc the bills coaches to mitigate some of it but he's still thinking about it and making small errors like having his feet pointed the wrong direction towards his intended Target and having his feet spread too far apart or too little on his dropback and sometimes using all arm instead of his entire base like on some of the deep balls he's missed.
  11. Horrendous sequence of play calls...as mediocre as Allen has looked tonight the playcalling has been just as abysmal
  12. That plus he's way off...Josh natural motion is from that angle he doesn't throw over the top
  13. This and your op is spot on..that's the one refinement missing from his game right now ..elway was very similar as a young qb he would throw every pass like a missile he learned with experience how to change speeds and vary velocity..Josh just needs reps to continue to refine his mechanics..and that comes with experience...he tends to get jacked up during home games as well I've noticed on the road his feet seem more calm. Not every qb comes out as polished as Andrew luck ..it took Brees nearly 4 years to put everything together in SD
  14. This game was lost in the trenches first and foremost the pass protection was awful today but they weren't helped by the lack of execution against the blitz
  15. Why do you think he's missing too far it's not a difficult concept ..it's simple physics a ball thrown with lower trajectory is going to reach it's target faster which impedes a receiver from running under the pass...it's the same concept with a punt a higher trajectory allows the coverage team time to reach versus a lower one which is much more returnable ...you're clearly not capable of the requisite maturity to have a discussion you think it makes you tough to call strangers names online o truly hope youre like 16 or something because if you're a grown man communicating like this good luck (y)
  16. No one is " bitching" grow up ..it's fair to evaluate certain things ..you should perhaps evaluate your comprehension of throwing mechanics .
  17. It's not about " lofting " certain passes require certain trajectory irrespective of the conditions if you throw a pass with too much velocity and not enough elevation that's the result . the throw he missed to Foster he's made before including in his rookie year
  18. Josh not putting the required arc on his passes again so far .
  19. No because reliability is crucial ...why pay him the money he will command when we've gotten more production outta smoke who's available..Watkins has all the talent in the world but can't stay on the field and continues to be inconsistent the guy has 150 yard two td monster potential as we saw here but he also has 2 catch 30 yard potential
  20. The gameplan has to start with dictating the pace ..the Ravens like to score fast with deep seam passes to their tight end out of their 21 personnel sets or go deep to Hollywood . we need to stay on the field converting on 3rd down will be crucial. We need to stop the run first and foremost it doesn't appear that any team has really boxed Lamar in yet ..we have two excellent safeties that should be able to limit their verticality ..we need to make Lamar have to stand in the pocket and keep him away from those easy dump off completions and wide open seam shots ...the media is salivating over him but their passing game really isn't very complex it's just excellent disguise and scheming . On offence Josh needs to continue his excellent trajectory and take what's there and not force things and give them short fields
  21. Lamar is spectacular as an overall talent there's no debating that..but the NFL is cyclical..it remains to be seen what he will look like a year from now. All it takes is one defensive coordinator to formulate the game plan to neutralize him and the floodgates open . The Ravens passing game is great but questions remain ...they don't really attack all areas of the field ..the majority of their production comes from Seam passes and slants and high low reads over the middle of the field .
  22. Yep ..McDermott runs a cover 3 zone based 4-3 ...that's the scheme ..his scheme is moreso predicated upon getting pressure via the front 4 through stunts and games ..they do blitz though double a gap blitzes and safety blitzes at times ..
  23. Like I said in another thread ...daboll is the wrong oc for this personnel..McDermott saw firsthand in Carolina how they were able to maximize cam Newton despite his limitations as a passer yet here he is as a hc trying to turn Josh Allen into tom Brady when he's more like cam Newton in playstyle
