  1. This is the why the question about "only the WR room" is difficult to be answered. One thing is for certain, the Buffalo Bills do not care about who is catching footballs as long as they are being caught. The O is doing what it's supposed to do. Move the ball, don't turn it over and score TDs. This argument will go on and on because there is no simple "statistical" way to know if the WRs are better or not. Your post shows that receiving yards alone is not the end all of a fair comparison, despite what some fans may think. There are way too many variables that would have to be judged to definitely determine the entire rooms worth. It's a complicated task to answer that correctly. From TDs to breaking up potential INTs from poorly placed balls to run blocking and drive saving 1st downs at critical times (to a dozen other things), how can these things equate? These things have to be judged on a play-by-play, drive-by-drive, game-by-game criteria. We could "white board" all the determining factors that go into the job of a WR and then argue each traits significance, but this would lead to more opinions of what is important and what is not. For an old man like me I sometimes just use the old eye-test method. From what I see, the WRs are doing very well in THIS SYSTEM. I hope that continues and that the WR room steps up in the games that it's desperately needed to. I personally believe this WR room is better at THIS SYSTEM than last year's group. I will acknowledge that in a world of "fantasy" football, this may NOT be true, but as a Buffalo Bills fan, I just want the WIN!
  2. Yes. His dead cap for next year is $17M. I think it would be bad to take that hit and lose him to boot. Let's see how he comes back health wise. IMO.
  3. Milano has a $17M dead cap cost next year on both trades and cut. He is going nowhere. He has to prove he is NOT the player he was. Not the other way around. Everyone was happy he kept restructuring and had void years on the contract. That's half of the 17. Williams will get playing time.
  4. TDs? What is this TD stat. I had to look it up. Bills have 14 of them so far this year. More than any other team. Are they really as important as yards by receiving position? QB passing yards? I need to investigate this some more! I'll get back with everyone once I do.
  5. Exactly. An "efficiency stat" can be viewed in all kinds of ways. Shakir hasn't missed a target. That's pretty efficient. Last year Shakir had a Receiving Success Rate of 73.3% which was very good. So far this year it's 78.6%. Josh needs to keep spreading the ball around but it's clear that Shakir is tops in his choices of spreads.
  6. LOL, the cherry picking of stats in this thread is epic. No one can use this year's passing stats (so far) and compare it to any previous year. Currently, Josh Allen is on pace for 3,587 yards for the entire 17 game season. Let THAT sink in. Josh is averaging 211 yards per game. The next closest year to that is 2019. The entire Bills team has played together so well that Josh has only 634 yards so far. That's all that has been needed for the Buffalo Bills to be the HIGHEST SCORING team in the NFL. FWIW.
  7. Tenn, NE and Indy..........you are talking ancient history in football. All that was back in 2021. In 2022 Bills whooped Titans 41-7. How come you didn't remember that? It's 2024. Let's get with the times.
  8. If owners were drafting "front offices" there is no way that the current Bills executives/coaches are drafted 9th. No way!
  9. Everyone hold on. Let me get my popcorn.
  10. Ravens are a formidable opponent in their own house. It will be a tough game. There is plenty of tape already on their offense and defense. Brady and Babich are going to earn their money this week and I give the edge to the Bills. The edge is Josh Allen.
  11. The next game is all that matters. I agree, Bills should win.
  12. Under rated and under dogs AND under the radar!
  13. Thanks for laughing at that @SoonerBillsFan! Let the fun keep going..........
  14. PFF is a useful tool, but the Josh Allen grading shows its flaws.
  15. With Brown out who is going to protect this guy?
  16. My father suffered from this in his later years. It's a tough condition.
  17. I'll quote myself again. "Give Josh Allen time and he will tear up the league". As others have said, it's nice to be able to bring back this group next year.
