    That is my impression as well. Looking at power rankings I have trouble seeing why we are only 2 point favorites.

    Obviously Vegas and pretty much everyone else knows more than I about the NFL but I guess I expected the bills to be favored by more points.

    Maybe someone can answer this for me. It seems that the point spread is the same as it was with the Rams yet it also seems like the Raiders don't get anywhere near the respect that the Rams do. Is it home field advantage or that the Rams were not too long ago a SB team or something else?

    While I agree with you last year the Jets beat the Cowboys 24 to 22. That plus the T-day bills/cowboys game make me wonder how the divisions play against each other. But maybe I am just looking for some reason to be optimistic.

    Sorry if this was addressed elsewhere (I couldn't find it directly) but does anyone think that Cam Akers being out for the Rams will have any impact on the game?

    I remember the Jets demolishing Dallas last year, so while I agree the Bill's opponents were not great I think the overall level of parity in the league makes things hard to predict.

    I saw the highlights of the Rams/Cowboys and Rams/Eagles games. I was not very impressed by the "strength" of the Ram's opponents.

    People usually recover from a pneumothorax assuming he is not a smoker. Fractured ribs are a different animal depending on whether they are aggravated by breathing (most people like to breathe) plus the obvious repeated hits to the injured area are probably why their prognosis is so grim. Maybe they could wrap him up in bubble wrap.

    I would not say that the power rankings scare me but when we do play better teams (and probably everyone is better than the Jets) if we get to a 12-4 record I would not be surprised if 6 or more of those games end up being determined by 3 points or less. In other words not for the timid or those with heart conditions.

    The season can't get here soon enough, you know it is bad when there are posts about facial hair.

    It sounds like the Bills; win some that no one expects and lose some despite having more talent on paper.
