  1. Good list, I would take Shaq off the list and replace him with Alexander. Unless he drops off this season, I thought he played a good game. I also think Shady gets a start whether it's with Buffalo or another team. If a team will give Adrian Peterson a shot, I think Shady will get one as well I would take Groy off the list. He showed today when the team was reluctant to play him last season. Not very good.
  2. His plan was to go 7-9 and 8-8....or 9-7 if your opponent rests the starters in Week 17. Whaley was a trash GM
  3. With this kind of thought process and knowing the types of players at WR and OL, do you think Beane and McDermott privately thought this was going to be a "tank year?" Not that they are deliberately trying to lose (like another Buffalo franchise), but realistically thinking about 2018 as a year to free up cap space and fill needs in the 2019 offseason? They seemed very steadfast in not wanting to trade 2019 draft picks. I think they knew they'd be drafting high Sure there's no way to evaluate a QB after 15 starts....
  4. At this point, I think the odds are heavily against it, if Allen is bust there's a good chance Beane and McDermott as gone. You really never get a 2nd chance at drafting a franchise QB unless you are David Caldwell in Jacksonville. If there's a can't miss QB prospect this year (like say a Drew Locke) and Allen's play is less than stellar, they can do what's in the best interest of their team and take him. I wouldn't put that scenario past this team
  5. 26CornerBlitz: Bucky Brooks was not the worst 2nd round pick in Bills history BuffaloRush: Explain your reasons 26CornerBlitz: No I don't want to, he just isn't Reeeeeeeeal intelligence True, but this cat seems to love saying "I told you so." Look at the 200 tweets he's posted here as threads
  6. Ladies and Gentlemen....The most negative person on the board = 26CornerBlitz
  7. Here it is - this dude makes an excellent point. The Bills need to let Allen start ASAP. Not only because Peterman is terrible but because they have a shot at drafting high again this year. The more they sit Allen, the less time they have to evaluate whether they have something with him. If they feel they need to - they could pull a Jacksonville and get a 2nd chance to draft a franchise QB. It really doesn't happen very often
  8. Sammy’s numbers look oddly the same as they did in Buffalo. I don’t understand it
  9. Probably... they were terrible in all facets today.
  10. If Baker Mayfield plays that game the Browns won by 2 scores. 6 turnovers and they needed luck to go to OT. I love Tyrod but he pretty much lost that game
  11. Not really....he was too busy getting a new daily radio show and starting the Buffalo Maven
  12. Bucky and Sully have a new site called Buffalo Maven. Writing is actually pretty good but the site itself is not great. https://footballmaven.io/bills
  13. Dont worry - I actually don’t listen. 1270 is too jojo to have an on-demand section on their website. Only way to listen is live and I can’t during that time Yeah I have iOS 11.4.1 which is the most updated version. Didn’t make a difference
  14. This is a example of why Jerry was a great reporter. There was a time when the press confronted people, and asked the “tough” questions and actually tried to get answers. You couldn’t get away with a BS response or they would call you out on it. This happened during the Whaley press conference too. Whaley was given terrible answers which made no sense, so Bucky and Sully calmed him out on it. You don’t really see this in journalism today. A player or coach can just mumble an answer that makes no sense and other reporters are too timid to ask a follow up. I think it’s somewhat presumptuous to think McDermott was the one behind Sully’s removal.
  15. Thank you but I do have the Chrome browser for iOS and I tried opening and got the same thing. It it looks like the Buffalo Maven may have fixed the problem.
  16. It’s one of those pop-ups that you can’t close. Your only option is to close the browser or click ok. But how to spammers have access to the site’s code? Do they add some sort of code in the comments section?
  17. I wrote a post about Elway earlier. He should be on the hot seat
  18. That’s the thing with O’Leary he does a lot of things ok but does do 1 thing well. That’s why he was cut. I am surprised he’s still out there, I think he’s shown enough to be a decent depth player
  19. IMO a lot of the issues happened when WIlson signed his new deal. His contract took up a lot of cap space which could have been used in other areas on the team. I don't fault WIlson or the Seahawks for giving him the deal but when your QB is no longer on a rookie contract, you no longer have the cap flexibility you once had.
  20. As some people here new Bucky and Sully's new venture is the Buffalo Football Maven. It's a website that follows a similar model of The Athletic. The only difference is that it's only NFL football and it's free and supported through advertising. You can check it out here: https://footballmaven.io/bills/ I was on my phone and I saw a link on Twitter that the Jerry Sullivan mailbag was back so I clicked on it. I read the article for about 10 second when all of a sudden an annoying dialogue box pops up. I tapped on the button that said "ok" to close it, thinking it would take me back to the article. Instead I was forced onto another site where it said my ISP was giving me a free $100 Wal-Mart gift card. There was no way to get back to the article without closing the browser tab completely. So I closed it and read the mailbag again, when the same exact thing happened. This happened about 3 times before I said "forget this." I do have to say, I didn't have these issues when I used my laptop. Still the ads made the mobile experience horrendous. I'm curious to know whether it's just my experience on my iPhone of it works like this for all mobile devices because I literally couldn't read the articles on the site without getting the gift card pop up
  21. He was a very bad pick but again Cyrus played 25 games in his 3 years with the Bills and started 7 games. Some of those games in his play was actually passable. He was never great but the Bills got a much better return than the 3 games that Bucky played. Bucky returned 9 kicks for an average of under 20 yards and fumbled once. That's it. Kouandijo > Bucky
  22. I know about all of these other items that you mentioned - except the one on Berchtold. I know he was hired in 1989, but I am pretty sure he was not hired to keep Matt Fairburn in line. You must mean someone else because Fairburn would have been in Elementary school back then
