  1. How was Troup worse a worse pick for the Bills? Bucky played 3 games for the Bills! 3 games!!!! Never caught a pass. Returned 9 kicks. Troup played 21 games and never did much. So both players were taken in the second round. Both players suffered injuries and were essentially flops. Both had minimal impact. So again, to me 21 games in the NFL seems like a much better return than 3. This is why Bucky Brooks was the worst 2nd round draft pick in Bills history! Prove me otherwise
  2. How many games did Bucky play for the Bills? biggest bust of all time Again, Brooks was not “decent.” To me, decent means a player is ok....serviceable when needed. The Bills have several decent lineman on the team. As a DB, Bucky was far from decent. He was given multiple chances and he failed to sustain any success. He never even hung on for an entire season. Teams cut him after a few games before he was bad. Bucky was not decent....he was below average. It’s ok to admit that No he’s spot on and he defeated you using your own logic. The Bills OL has never played 1 game as a unit. Using the body of work in the preseason to evaluate the performance of players during the season can be misleading.
  3. Dave has an excellent point. You can’t have it both ways. It’s nice to see something thinking objectively rather than trying to blindly defend someone because they like them. Worst Bills 2nd round draft pick ever
  4. Sure but remember, these guys are on TV. They take strong positions so it’s an entertaining to watch. Plus they follow all 32 teams. Based on what we saw in the preseason, the comments make sense. Th Bills 1st team OL was really bad
  5. More romanticism. Whaley was below average to me. Yes he made a few nice moves, but all GM’s do. He loses points for some really bad drafts and his big gambles never paid off (trading Sammy to help EJ). Also without a major QB contract on the books, he somehow managed to put the team in a horrendous salary cap position. Also under the Buddy, the Bills were essentially a 6-10 team. What did Whaley do to improve? He helped them win 1 or 2 more games in 3 years. He was not as good as some fans give him credit for
  6. People often will romanticize about Buddy Nix and Doug Whaley as GM’s. They were not good. I always thought Levitre was a solid guard. I don’t think the Bills thought he was worth the contract he commanded
  7. I love Tyrod as a person. Seems like a real good guy, but he did frustrate me as a QB. I think the last straw was in jacksonville. The D put the team on striking distance to win and he couldn’t score more than 10 points. That’s when I knew Tyrod and Dennison were done. it really makes me wonder what happens if Dennison was never hired. What if it were McCoy or Childress who took the job? Do they design an offense around Tyrod? Because with Dennison the only good bing you could about Tyrod was “well at least he doesn’t throw INTs”. Interesting to think about.
  8. Kind of... but he is right. The worst think about guys like Buddy Nix preaching “patience” was the fact that the franchise had the drought hanging over their heads. It was embarrassing and almost insulting. It’s like “F your patience, we’ve been patient for 10 years and this team continues to suck. Just start winning.” The drought is over now, so we can focus on the future and it’s not as bad to take one step to move 2 foward
  9. Oh no, it doesn’t I agree with you. I only kept talking about this point because 26CB defended it so strongly and gen refused to elaborate. I like listening to Bucky and I think he’s a good analyst. His point here about the OL is legit. I can can’t hear his name without remembering what a huge disappointment was for the Bills. Now what I do disagree is what you would consider “decent” at CB. Not all players that play in the NFL are “decent” by pro standards. Many are below average. Bucky certainly fits on the below average category. Why do you think he played so few games for teams? He wasn’t good and they moved on from him fast. If you want to say Bucky “played DB in the NFL” then that’s fair. But he did not have a “decent” career. He didn’t have a good career at all. By your logic Lafayette Pitts is a “decent” cornerback. Chris Watson is “decent”. That’s not the case. I’ll say this he does deserve a lot of credit for returning from injury and playing a position on the opposite side of the ball. Very few players are able to do this at the NFL level. But Polian essentially drafted a WR that really didn’t have the ability to play the position at the pro level. A terrible pick.
  10. Take a look at these stats as DB. They don’t look “decent” at all. Especially not as a 2nd rounder. He never played more than 6 games in any year. Only 3 for the Bills. In terms of a DB his career was on par with an undrafted FA. http://www.nfl.com/player/buckybrooks/2499805/careerstats for the Bills, he contributed next to nothing. Probably the worst 2nd rounder. I wish @26CornerBlitz would share his reasons for Bucky not being the worst 2nd round pick by the Bills “by a long shot.”
  11. Ok I just asked you to explain why he isn’t? By the way people really love the 30 tweets you post per day
  12. Because you can’t. Don’t make a strong statement like that and refuse to defend it.
  13. DM me then.... how was he not the worst 2nd round pick? He played 2 games!!!!!! 2 games!!!!!!
  14. Because you can’t. Call it misfortune or bad luck. But as a 2nd round pick you can’t deny that his career was not fruitful. One of the least productive 2nd round picks ever. again, prove me wrong? Oh wait you can’t. Because you like him as an analyst you want to change history. So much fun proving biased thoughts wrong
  15. Nope...if you read, I said he had a fair take. i just pointed out what a bust he is because 26CB loves him and thinks he can do no wrong
  16. Not Germaine to this conversation? Ok that’s true....just pointing out what a colossal disappointment Bucky was for the Bills. Here is where you are 100% wrong. How was he not a bust as a 2nd round pick? Just because you like him as an analyst doesn’t mean he wasn’t a terrible NFL player. Do explain!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
  17. Clearly you didn’t listen to the interview because Jerry made all of those points. No PR just stating a fact. Sorry that Jerry called out your favorite team. You shouldn’t be so sensitive
  18. Not really...I mean his response to what sully said about him. He essentially said many people weren’t on board with his hire, that they should have hired Keith McShea, and that Barnett’s brainchild The BN Blitz only was able to get 3,000 subs - 97% short of what they promised. An epic failure if true
