  1. His time is very valueable. He spends about 20 hours a day checking hisTwitter feed and then scooping the crew over at TSA
  2. Nope this is a message board. You make threads....it’s like you know, something people do a lot of message boards
  3. No, see....that’s the thing. Put it this way, what do you do if you lose all your money at pokers? You say “double or nothing” and play one more round. It’s a last ditch effort to save your arse. I see the QB in 2019 as Beane’s chance to go “double or nothing.” Of course, this is all contingent on how Allen plays this year. But if he goes south like pundits like Warren Sharp, Bill Barnwell, and several other pundits predicted, it’s time for that second chance. Hey, it could happen
  4. We’ll see who’s laughing when the Bills have 2 top QB’s on their roster. I’m sure you’ll be posting tweets about it every 10 seconds.
  5. I fully expect Allen to get the start on Sunday. My point is, if he’s still the same inconsistent QB he was at Wyoming with little signs of improving AND the Bills have the choice to draft a top QB....I say draft a new QB
  6. But if he struggles this year and they have a chance to land the top QB in the draft, I’d say....do it. 2 good young QB’s on any team is a dream.
  7. I think that the Bills need to play Josh Allen ASAP because we need to see whether he’s the man or not. At the end of 2019, the team really need to evaluate him. Because if he’s not the man, then the Bills should draft another QB - perhaps even at #1. Think about it, the QB makes everyone around them better, especially the OL and WR’s. A good QB can overcome a bad defense by putting points on the boards - especially when they have the ball last. Unless the Bills are 110% that Allen is that guy, they should draft another QB. Each week, the team basically plays the hot hand. Then if the 2019 QB is the man and if Allen develops, you have two quality starting QB’s on rookie deals and Allen becomes a very valueable trading piece.
  8. LOL if thwhy were in the business of pleasing fans, they should have signed Fred Jackson to start at RB, Stevie Johnson at WR and John Murphy at LT to watch Nate Peterman’s blindside
  9. Theres a lot of romantizing going on up in here???????? This is the definition of emotional romanticism
  10. Bills fans....it’s time to be positive. Use this thread below to share some reason why you stand by Coach McDermott and GM Beane. I stand by Coach McDermott because I trust in the #Process. I know it’s a long term plan and that the roster is far from a finished product. I stand by GM Brandon Beane because he helped make some big moves that guided this team in the post season for the first time in 17 years. He did something in 1 year that many other GM’s like Tom Donahoe, Marv Levy, Russ Brandon, Bud Nix, and Doug Whaley FAILED miserably. I stand by Terry and Kim Pegula for their patience and fidelity to the process. I stand by them for committing to Coach McDermott and GM Beane for the duration of their contract to see the #process through. Stand with me #Billsmafia
  11. Ok so this is pretty much spot on. I will say that when Woods left there was not this emotional reaction. People would have liked him to stay but also didn’t think he was worth the deal he got. I will say that part of the fan base wanted to keep Hogan but he broke his wrist and had some drops late in the year. Again people didn’t feel he was worth the deal he got. They did wish that Whaley tendered him at a higher price so we’d get a #2
  12. When Bills fans stop romanticizing about the past, I’ll stop using it. Doesn’t look like it will happen anytime soon
  13. Maybe he was. But im just saying at the time, Bills fans were indifferent about Woods.
  14. WTF does this prove? You shared 2 threads from AFTER both guys left the team
  15. If there was, it was a very small part of the fan base. Lost considered Woods to be a decent #2, but a guy who consistently wasn’t enough of a difference maker to warrant the contract he got.
  16. Most are ready to move on from Woods. Not one person faulted Whaley (who was GM at the time) for moving on. The majority of the fan base felt that he wasn’t worth the contract he was given. LOL...Prove they weren’t Same thing with Hogan....Dareus....Cyrus...Seantrel just to name a few. No on cared about these guys when they left. A big part of the fan base was living Sammy was traded. I’ll give you that
  17. The problem is the high degree of negativity and hubris among Bills fans. The same fans who are pining for Goodwin or Chris Hogan are the same ones who wanted them off the team when they were free agents
  18. Finally getting caught up on Sal’s Extra Point Show. He said this year he has made a commitment to take as many callers as he can. Wow was it interesting. Anyway even WGR is not immune to emotional romanticism. One agitated callers was pining about the talent that left the team like Sammy, Woods, Hogan and Goodwin. Sal thought it was ridiculous. They when he brought up Goodwin specifically, Sal said. ”Are you kidding me. Marquis Goodwin!?!? Fans thought he was always injured and not very good. If the GM resigns Goodwin, fans would have demanded his head the next day. Marquis Goodwin, give me a break!” He later said their production has more to do with the QB, than the actual talent themselves and that it’s really easy to look good when you have Tom Brady or Jimmy G. throwing you the football. Prop to Sal for shitting down the emotional romanticism. I think some of you romanticizers should follow his advice. It was great and so spot on!!!! its on the end of hour 1, if anyone is interested
