  1. I don’t think John Brown was a minor signing.. nor do I think Beasley was a minor nor signing neither. Nor do I think Stefon Diggs is a better version of John Brown.. I knew John Brown would be a huge jolt to this offense when we signed him.. I wanted him to come here the year before but he went to the Ravens on a 1 year deal.. when he came here I was very excited... and I also knew that Cole Beasley is exactly what we needed.. Anyways, as far as your John Brown to Stefon Diggs comparison goes.. they both have elite ability on go routes but Diggs also has elite ability as a possession receiver as well... Diggs can tally up 100 receptions in a season and I fully expect him to do that here.. it would not surprise me to see Diggs with 111 catches 1,350 yards and 10 TDS.. he can do it all and I feel he meshes extremely well with Josh Allen’s strengths.. All in all, this offseason has been bizarre... How will Corona affect the Bills? I don’t know... had we continued on last year’s momentum, combined with the addition of Diggs and with John Brown at that #2 spot I would expect career years from Diggs and Brown.. Brown should eclipse 72+ catches yet again along with 1,000 yards.. it wouldn’t surprise me to see him have his best year as a pro... Diggs quite frankly has the ability to be one of the best WRs in Bills history.. maybe not quite as good as Andre Reed or Eric Moulds but within that echelon of top Bills WRs of all time.. This is probably in our top 2-3 WR units of all time.. we haven’t had a 1-2 punch like this since Eric Moulds and Peerless Price.... for that reason I would not be surprised to see Josh Allen put up huge numbers as a pro.... but Corona makes me a little uncertain. If all goes well, I could see Allen with mega numbers.
  2. This is interesting.. I don’t have the answer to that.. I haven’t heard much of Fromm throughout training camp... but he’s a 5th round pick... and he’s apparently pretty smart because he’s an elite white QB... but his arm is very average... not a great athlete but apparently pretty decisive all jokes aside... projected as a 2nd round pick coming out.... but he slipped because of why? Personally I think Matt Barkley is a better QB than given credit for... I think he is the better QB between him and Fromm both short term and long term.. I don’t see Fromm turning into a starting QB not now nor never.. I think you roll with Allen/Barkley and Fromm goes to the PS.. I think Barkley is a very good backup..
  3. Are we really doing this? I’m more concerned about the thoughts and meanings behind a post rather than the correct location of an apostrophe at the end of a letter. The message behind a post matters more than a grammatical error... Stupid to throw out an otherwise insightful post because someone is not an English major..
  4. His brother died and I think that it threw him into a depression. Wasn’t the same after that.
  5. Fair enough.. we’ll just have to agree to disagree.. I’m a way better grappler than I am a boxer.. but it sounds like you have more experience than I do.. what do you do when your opponent is 6 inches taller than you and outweighs you by 100lbs? Kickboxing would surely be useful there.. or what happens if you’re getting mugged by 3 guys? In that case I’d rather be adept at boxing.. Grappling is such an easy way to control an opponent 1 on 1 but if I had to pick one universal style of fighting it’d be boxing... Mike Tyson was a bad, bad man in the 90s.. probably the greatest fighter this planet has ever seen... Maybe Cassius Clay could take him but if I could be like any fighter of all time it’d be Tyson.. he could probably wreck three good fighters at the same time... I hate watching people grapple... boring..
  6. For 1 on 1 fighting grappling is good to know.. but if you’re street fighting, taking someone down to the ground can leave you exposed and can be dangerous... i think boxing is the best fighting style to know.. my favorite fighters like Chuck Liddell, Rampage Jackson and Jon Bones Jones all knew how to lay a haymaker.. Mike Tyson was the most dangerous fighter on earth at one point in time.. Kickboxing can create a lot of space and distance between you and your opponent.. very rarely do you see a kickboxer land a blow to the head... but you can cave somebody’s knee in if you kick them at the right spot and at the right time.. so in closing I would say that grappling is absolutely not the best fighting style.. I’d say boxing, grappling and kickboxing in that order...
  7. Could this be a Marshall Lynch situation? A talented back whom was held back by a crappy franchise? Perhaps Fournette comes here and thrives behind our OL and all that open space created by our WRs.
  8. Beasley is extremely important to Josh Allen.. he is a great possession receiver despite his size... he uses quickness to get open and provides Josh Allen with a reliable outlet in case Diggs and Brown can’t get open.. he’s good for 60-70 first downs every year... Now is the time to start providing Josh with as many weapons as possible... we’re in win now mode, not rebuild mode.. our Super Bowl window is now... if anything we should be trading for players....
  9. 60/40 Singletary/Moss Singletary is just too darn special. I do think Moss will be a good back but I think Singletary is excellent. His size worries me though.. may have to be used tactfully... give some of them carries to Moss so he can wear down the defenses.. I think Singletary could get 800 yards a year at or around 4.5-5.0 ypc, no problem...Moss will be the hammer.. he’ll get the dirty work so he may have a lower ypc and overall productivity...but he’ll be the back that we wanted frank Gore to be....
  10. Yeah.... it’s just kind of weird... I didn’t think the Pats could replace Tom Brady with a QB that’s more feminine than him but then they signed Cam Newton..
  11. Dareus is a free agent because he mailed it in after getting paid..
  12. Can anybody tell me more about him?
  13. I think Sweeney has a chance at being our #2... he’s not a game breaker but he has the potential to be a solid player for us.. wouldn’t surprise me to see him eventually lockdown that spot opposite of Knox...
  14. Yeah.... I don’t see that happening... questionable work ethic.... came to camp out of shape before...probably wants to be paid at least $5M... that’s more than Singletary/Moss combined... he’d be paid starter money to be our 3rd back... not a process guy...?‍♂️
  15. I like Moss... may not be a first round pick but he was super talented coming out of college... and he’s looked good in camp.. not to mention I think our line will see a huge jump with Ford at RG and Williams at RT.. never draft a RB high nor pay one top dollar... 3rd round is about the highest I’d draft one.... o-line is more important..
  16. Allen put up similar numbers without Diggs...I see Allen stepping up this year into the upper echelon of QBs in the NFL..
  17. I think $14M or more is absurd for Matt Milano.. I could see $10M, I suppose.. but no way on God’s green earth should Milano get more than $10M.
  18. I think he is a decent RB but I like Singletary and Moss better...there is simply no carries for him here..
  19. Josh Allen 4,543 yds 33 TDs 11INTs 65% Stefon Diggs 111 receptions 1,353 yds 8 TDs AJ Epenesa 10 sacks Devin Singletary 5.0ypc 800 yds 4 TDs Zack Moss 4.2ypc 555 yds 8 TDs
  20. Such is life of a Super Bowl caliber team..
  21. I understand why you feel that way and it makes sense... both Hughes and Addison can get us 10 sacks a piece, I get it... just thought Yannick and Epenesa would be a potentially elite pass rush for years to come.. but I get why you feel that way....and more importantly Beane agrees with you too, so I’ll shut up now.
  22. I think we’d get smooshed against the Chiefs if we meet in the playoffs...but I do think we could beat the Ravens or 49ers if we meet them in the playoffs.. I would say that 12 wins is a possibility.. not saying we’ll get 12 wins but I don’t think you’re crazy for implying it... not that far fetched at all.. should at least get 11 wins.. I think 10 wins would be underwhelming if that’s all we get.. hopefully 12+ wins! ?
  23. Ford will be at RG.. Williams will be at RT.. Winters will likely be the backup LG/RG.. Nsekhe will backup LT and RT.. Evan Boehm will likely be the backup center.. at least so I think..
  24. I think fondly of both of them... Tyrod is a great game managing QB... he arguably had a better skill set than Fitz... people liked Fitz more because he was a gunslinger and liked to air it out.. Tyrod was ultra conservative..I do think Tyrod would win you more game than Fitz because of consistency....Fitz was wildly inconsistent....one game he would play like a top 10 QB, then the next he’d play like a bottom 32... Fitz’s number 1 downfall through his entire career was consistency...Tyrod was more steady....I pick Tyrod in terms of winning football games...not as entertaining...but steady..
  25. I think we missed an opportunity here.. Would have been nice to have him opposite of Epenesa for the next 5-6 years... A 2nd and a 5th ain’t much for a perennial 10 sack a year DE... but Beane knows more than I.... I trust the process.. DE will probably be a high priority position for us in next year’s draft...
