I’m okay with the player but not the price. Unless Knox has a breakout year, he’s gone, there’s an out in his contract after this year.. Factor in that we drafted a TE this year, it’s more than likely that Knox is playing his last year in Buffalo.
Knox has only done that two times in his six seasons here. The dude got paid and disappeared, that’s not Kincaid’s fault.
Kincaid reached that benchmark twice in his first two seasons here and his PR in his rookie year has not been matched once by Knox in his entire career.
I love Knox when he shows up but the problem is he doesn’t play up to his ability.
Knox has been a disappointment. I was convinced that he was going to be a top 10 TE at one point, but now I lament that we gave him such a big contract.
1.) Khalil Shakir
2.) Keon Coleman (I predict an increase in production)
3.) Dalton Kincaid (I predict an increase in production)
4.) Joshua Palmer
5.) Dawson Knox
6.) Elijah Moore
7.) Curtis Samuel
Trevor Lawrence is not very good and I think JA17 can get more out of him. If we’re talking about $6M-$8M on a one year deal, why wouldn’t you? He’ll probably take less because Josh can restore his image..
Gabe is an average to slightly above average WR2. I think if he comes back you put him on the left side and then you put Keon on the right side and obviously Shakir goes in the slot..
Let Palmer, Samuel and Moore battle it out in camp.
Nobody likes the guy. He’s entitled and has a poisonous personality. He’s never been told no before in his life. He should be grateful that he was drafted at all.
