Chiefs with Gillotte and Nohl Williams.

So we have a pocket collapsing DE who isn't bendy but can play the run and a "pass rushing" DT who probably isn't going to help greatly with our run stopping but might collect 2 to 4 sacks in our rotation? Someone tell me why I'm wrong because no joke I hope I'm completely wrong. We just drafted a second set of Rousseau and Oliver (ceiling) or AJ and Carter 2.0 (floor).

Bills 2nd Rnd pick in 2025 Draft : TJ Sanders - DT South Carolina

Maybe we'll take a 6'6" DE who has a high motor and is best described as a pocket collapser to go along with our squadron of DT's who are all 3techs who get 2 or 3 sacks a year and a pack of safeties who all run the 40 and finish behind Tremaine Edmunds and can't find their man until the ball is in his hands and he's 7 yards down the field. I'd rather complain now. Laugh about how wrong I was later and admit this is why I'm not a professional. I hope Sanders is a beast and Rapp and Bishop come out and play some lock down coverage. I was typing this and we literally did it. -
He's the closest thing to Hyde you'll find left in this draft. He's going to cover guys that Hamlin and Rapp (or Bishop) can't cover. It's part of the reason we don't get off the field on 3rd down. We could have stayed put and taken a DT and Mukuba.

Bills 2nd Rnd pick in 2025 Draft : TJ Sanders - DT South Carolina

I'm not afraid of a 290 pound DT. Nolen had really high grades both rushing the passer and as a run stopper. Sanders is not Nolen. The fear (my fear) is that he's the exact same guy we traded up for last year. From now until he shows up in a game and plays better than Carter I'm going to wonder why we take pass rushing 3techs who at the end of the season have a sack maybe two more than the UDFA guy we picked up off waivers to stop the run because we are getting owned by the Ravens or Colts. -
According to pro football reference it's better but not that much better. They both have the same rating (within 1 or 2 points) when thrown to and both have about the same drop rate. PIckens has been in the league a few years and played a couple more games last season otherwise their stats are (when you consider Keon was rookie) fairly close. They do the same things. Pickens is a little better on jump balls and Keon is a little better after the catch.

His four sacks of college production means he's worth trading up in the second because he's clearly a game changer. I'm going to hate myself for complaining later but at the moment i'm kinda WTF. I hope I'm totally wrong. -

At least when we get past the first two rounds our front office starts to make picks that make sense. Somehow they lose their minds until late day 2 almost every draft. -

Trade up for Carter 2.0? -
Making jump balls a larger part of our game is not my first idea about how to get better. Give me a down field route runner with decent to good speed and size. For all the Pickens love there's not much difference between his game and Coleman's game. Coleman stays healthy he could probably put up 900 yards and 3TDs. Moreover the guy ended up on the bench a lot because of attitude. We got rid of Diggs for a reason.

Am I wrong is saying the guy seems like a headache?

Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky

We'll draft Waxter from Villanova in the 6th round just in case. -
Mukuba and then Tory Horton. It's late and I'm sleepy. No logic just what popped into my mind. I like Collins also.

Am I wrong in saying they met with Alfred Collins? Maybe they'll surprise us and pick a run stopper. Found it ....... it was a combine meeting.

White played fine at 5'11" and like you I was worried about size but word on the street is that he's already put on 10 pounds which was music to my ears. -
They've had Mukuba in for private workouts. Think he might be a sneaky pick late 2nd?

Your not wrong but your chances significantly increase if he hasn't already thrown the ball in the first 2 and 1/2 seconds. -

Would love to see opposing QB's with no where to throw the ball. Let's make coverage sacks a thing. -

With his verticle he probably can make up for the 1/2 an inch difference any way. -

As long as the guy can cover. I wish he was 10 pounds heavier but if he stops QB's from throwing to his side of the field and can bring a rb down I don't care.
