  1. Strong with the coverage on 3rd? Looked good.
  2. Unless something happened I didn't see White had some catches in front of him but tackled everyone that caught it. Dane got abused. I didn't see anything bad from Hamlin or Lewis but that's not to say they don't have low ceilings. I just didn't see them get abused in this game.
  3. Honestly I might rather have the rookies on the roster. They'll get better and offer more raw physical ability. Dane is too small and too slow and time in the system doesn't matter if he still can't cover or tackle.
  4. Pretty sure Dane was directly responsible for 2 huge plays. One a TD and another missed tackle for a huge gain.
  5. I already forgot, do we get the ball first 2nd half?
  6. Make it or not Shavers is doing everything he can to get a roster spot.
  7. You're right .............. didn't catch that. Went back during the commercial. Eyes aren't what they used to be.
  8. Still want him to catch it but this is exactly right. The defender slapped it out.
  9. No complaints about the Dline here. Coverage and tackling might be another story. Think they're mixing in a lot of back ups so maybe that's it but guys are open and running our defense over after the catch.
  10. Is Lil Jordan Humphrey that fast? Is there a reason he's open in any type of coverage?
  11. If you are going to play coverage we should have enough guys covering that whoever catches it gets destroyed instantly. Instead they catch it with enough space to turn up field and run over 3 of our DB's.
  12. I know it's preseason but for the love of god tackle someone.
  13. Not that I don't want to see offense but I really didn't want the offense saving us. I was hoping the defense would be disruptive and sticky. We rush and they throw a screen for a big gain and then over the top for the TD.
  14. I hope our young DL line guys are in the backfield all day and our young secondary is sticky as hell. The offense I hope is vanilla as hell and move the ball because our Oline can just shove guys around.
  15. Automatically hate everyone in the AFC east. The Colts used to be included in that but they get a pass now. Chiefs took over after the Pats as the most hated AFC team.
  16. I might be wrong but I think this was the year all the pass catchers left. Price, Centers, and Reimersma were all gone. We lost a lot of 13 to 10 type games.
  17. Horton looks like the projected starter across from Smith-Njigba. Wish we would have taken that swing, Horton wasn't taken until the 5th round. Said it before the draft we'll see if he sticks around in NE, but Larison reminds me of Ekeler.
  18. I bought a Ryobi because it runs on 18v batteries that are the same as my power tools and I have 5 or 6 batteries around the house. I also live in a small city and only have 1/3 of an acre for my yard. The plus side is that the mower is very light. You can literally throw the thing around. Like others have said, I do tend to go through 2 or 3 batteries but I have a bunch of them and mow my lawn probably every two weeks. If my lawn was much bigger I don't think I'd still use this mower. I know they make bigger ones and even riding electric mowers. If I was going to invest that much I might just buy one of those GPS mower things on tracks that will mow your lawn in the summer and snow blow your driveway in the winter.
  19. I felt like we saw a lot of Bishop last year and that's even with him not showing a great ability to lock down coverage. Elam got a lot of chances. Hairston will see the field once he's healthy. I'd bet on it. Who was the only WR to catch a TD from someone other than Allen in the last 4 years (for what it's worth)?
  20. Would love to see Samuel earn a little bit of the contract we're paying him. His cap hit and dead money he's isn't going anywhere (this year), but if he doesn't show something we have a 2026 out. I'm not rooting against him though. Wish he'd break out and have some good production instead of filling the injury list with his name week after week.
  21. I'm not saying it can't happen but for those thinking they're going to see Keon take over the slot for a few weeks I wouldn't hold my breath. I get it that St. Brown has everyone looking for a big slot but I highly doubt our coaching staff sees Keon doing what St. Brown is doing. AJ Brown maybe but not St Brown.
  22. So they have a "legit" reason to shut down their best WR through some meaningless games. Sounds perfect to me. As long as he's ready for the regular season. More reps for whoever is expected to play behind Shakir. Hopefully Moore can step in and show something.
  23. Our LB's are always hurt so I could see Thompson sticking just as insurance. Not that he doesn't get nicked up also but it's another body. Our CB's are always nicked up and Ingram has years of experience (with some success) and plays special teams so I expect to see him on the roster. I also can't see Walker not being on the 53. Either Walker or Carter may end up mysteriously on injured reserve with the ability to return when the other DL players come back from suspension while they decide who we need in uniform on Sundays. No offense to Carter but I bet he's not on the roster either by the end of the year or certainly by next season.
  24. Not my cup of tea but he played well in Indy with a one cut and go style and a decent line.
  25. There is a large contingent of posters who would just draft a WR first every year no matter what. Every single year they start thread after thread railing on about how we need to trade half our picks away and draft so and so WR. I've seen a lot of amazing WR's have amazing years and almost none of them had anything to do with a SB win. There's also no rule saying you have to draft equal amounts of offense and defense. Beane feels like the defense is keeping us from winning it all he could draft all defense every year. He wants to draft a WR with our first 3 picks he can do that also ............... and someone would still rant about how we need to draft a WR in the next draft. Are there times we should draft a WR, no doubt, but there are two things of absolute certainty. A broken clock will be right twice a day and there will be post upon post about who our next WR should be and how much we should trade away to get them.
