  1. The benefit isn’t worth the risk. The game doesn’t matter. Josh was hurt last year against Houston and nobody was mad at McDermott because the game mattered.
  2. I don’t see any defense of playing starters in preseason. Just a bunch of attacks on @WIDE LEFT Cam was injured last night, and if one of the Bills starters gets hurt tonight a lot of people in this thread are going to look pretty dumb.
  3. Does it invalidate the criticism of your post if you know it’s coming and say it before they do?
  4. I’m curious as to why you would give Buffalo the edge defensively? Aside from being a Bills fan. They have some injuries but they have studs at every level. Adams, Mosely, and the Williams’ might be better than anyone we have. As for Gase, he has been hired as a head coach now twice because he worked with Peyton Manning. Simple case of QB making the coach look good. How sure are you that Darnold isn’t good? Yes, I saw the numerous playoff predictions before last season. But if you bring it up now, they will say it was only a handful of crazy people.
  5. Theres no reason to think the Bills are almost definitely better than the Jets. That’s why I’m so excited for week one. Is Q Williams better than Oliver? Is Darnold better than Allen? Will Edmunds take the next step? Does that mean he’s better than Mosley? Which o line will be better? Will Morse play? Which wr corps is better? A lot of parallels and new players on both sides
  6. I don’t think what he said was intentionally negative toward Allen. As he said, he was simply setting expectations for what good QB stats look like in the modern era since Buffalo hasn’t had one since Kelly. I didn’t hear him say anything about Allen not reaching those levels. Could have missed it though.
  7. Never said I like him. Only said I think it's embarrassing to see Bills fans call him a loser when he outscores all Bills receivers every year.
  8. Incorrect. It was phrased as "If they have a disastrous season" which coach would most likely be fired. Still disagree, but it's a big difference. Cossell said there were some plays where Oliver struggled in the Colts game. Said he played well overall and was going against a good player in Nelson. He also prefaced it by saying he knows Bills fans will overreact to even that. Thanks for proving him right guys!
  9. It just reminds me of the posters in this thread calling AB a loser. Same motivation. Making themselves feel better because they think there’s something worse that what the Bills put out on offense last season.
  10. I was referring to a thread earlier this month with posters making fun of Gruden for complimenting Peterman.
  11. haha. It's embarrassing seeing Bills fans on this forum make fun of Antonio Brown (and call him a "loser") and, earlier this summer, John Gruden for complimenting Peterman. Maybe take a look in the mirror first.
  12. So funny. Well he's back at practice. We will see if he can once again outscore the entire Bills wide receiver corps and wipe that underserved smirk off Bills fans faces. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/antonio-brown-actually-shows-up-for-raiders-practice-and-it-appears-his-crazy-helmet-saga-is-finally-over/?ftag=SPM-16-10abi8e
  13. I get that you don't want him on the team (although his play far outweighs his distraction), but if Beane wanted him on the team enough to give up assets to acquire him, why do you care if he gave him money also? Plenty of cap space this year and next btw You really don't think they had a deal in place? If not, why did Beane back away? money?
  14. You hope our GM wanted to trade for the best WR in the league but not pay him?
  15. Oh you think I thought it was finalized with the league? That would be crazy. I don't know at what point it fell through but it seems like the two teams were done negotiating and had a deal in place at the very least. After that it gets hazy, but if Beane backed out because he didn't want to sign AB to the deal he got from the Raiders I'm very disappointed. What I think is more likely is Brown expressed his displeasure with having to go to Buffalo and that's when Beane backed away from the deal. I hope so at least.
  16. No one knows! I just hope Beane didn't back out because he thought we couldn't afford to pay the best WR in the league in the two years they have the most cap space in team history.
  17. I never said finalized. You added that part in your previous post. You're now arguing against yourself, congrats!
  18. I respectfully ask that you leave me alone. I'm arguing on a message board with two posters about the same issue. Others are also taking my side, yet you're singling me out. Nope! ...But they don't fall apart because of money when the team trying to acquire the player has more than enough cap space. I'm glad Beane tried to get Brown. If he backed off because he didn't want to give him a two year deal in two years where we have more than enough cap space then i'm disappointed.
  19. Right because the Bills didn't really have the cap space this year or next.
  20. The burden of proof isn't on me. That's my point. Shady stated it as a fact.
  21. Don't worry. I'm not upset. Maybe focus on yourself or someone else that's arguing with me.
