  1. Yeah I'm worried that he would want to trade for him AND not realize he would have to pay him
  2. How about he didn't want to come to Buffalo so it never got that far. You can't even see that as a possibility? If Beane wanted AB without paying him I'm very concerned with our GM situation.
  3. Brown is better at his job than anyone in that building. He’s a head case. Gruden/Mayock’s job is to get him on the field knowing that fact. They knew he would take this small fine personally. Has Mayock ever been a GM before? The Raider’s look really bad here. As does Brown.
  4. Oh god, this again. That’s just one aspect of the situation. Please don’t sum up my entire argument for me.
  5. Not getting into this again, but yeah. Swap of 1st round picks was the rumored deal.
  6. Holy hell, he actually has reason to be this upset if that’s true. Its basically a 30mil fine
  7. I would take him right now for cheap. Think about it, there’s not really much time for him to fight Beane before the season starts. If he’s traded for can he be cut without any penalties?
  8. I feel the same, but also don’t think these distractions would have changed out W-L at all. All this stuff is embarrassing but it doesn’t change the on-field product one bit. Talking about it in the office doesn’t change the gameplan or execution. We are talking about world class athletes performing against each other not data entry. Steelers gave him away so cheap for the same reason SEA got Clowney so cheap. He told his agent he wouldn’t play just anywhere. Just my opinion, but I’m guessing he wanted to go somewhere warm. Teams probably were. You only hear about the deals that were agreed to like BUF and OAK. Personal grudges? Idk every situation is different. No one seemed to care when Bruce Smith didn’t feel like practicing. Yep, and I’m saying their effect on the outcome of games is severely overrated. Even last year when he didn’t show up for the last game it was indefensible, but he scored 15TD in the other 15 games so was he a positive overall?
  9. Distractions are overrated. Do the other players know the playbook? Are they practicing or gossiping about AB all day?
  10. I guess we are going to Redd’s Tavern now. Apparently it’s a Bills bar. I had no idea.
  11. I thought about it, but ultimately decided against it. I live in Brooklyn, and there are two breweries right near each other by me. Bridge and Tunnel and Queens breweries. (Queens brewery is on queens/Brooklyn border) if you wanted to hit two in close proximity. As for the game game I’ll probably end up watching it with friends at the Turkey’s Nest in Williamsburg.
  12. Fine by me. I guess I’m just confused where the trust comes from. Maybe you just have a feeling.
  13. No, I never said they should have had the best team ever. Don’t know where that came from. Regardless of the reasons, they have done nothing on offense to inspire any trust from me. You don’t need to agree that most of their offensive personnel moves have been a disaster.
  14. Well you just have the magic answer for any failures then. Mike Tolbert? Zay Jones? The entire online last year? Corey Coleman? Peterman? McCarron? You’re just going to say it’s salary cap related so I guess we will start judging them this year. (Even though the dead cap was created by them to begin with)
  15. Ill start trusting this coach/GM on offensive personnel decisions when one of them isn’t a complete disaster
  16. C’mon an all passing season as a promotion? That would be fun. Better than roll up the rim for sure. Allen should be ready to command a high powered air attack. Why take him at 7 otherwise?
  17. So how many years do you want to waste if he’s no good? QBs rarely if ever go from bad to great. I want two years of only pass plays to even out the last 15yrs. ? I don’t think it will happen though
  18. I’m ok with not seeing a single running play called from the Bills this season.
  19. If the dolphins hit on half of these picks they’ll be good in a couple years. 50% hit rate means completely nailing one normal draft. Draft a QB and it’s the same odds, Rosen or the drafted QB could end up being good.
