I think posters are absolutely trying to cast doubt on his talent to make it seem like less of a mistake to not draft him. Otherwise why bring it up if it's so obvious?

Beane and McDermott might not actually do it because it would look bad, but if there was a new regime in there tomorrow they would take this deal in a heartbeat. He can't believe how lucky he is that his team finally has weapons and he gets to watch these weapons for the next 10+ years.? The fact is Mahomes is better than Allen will ever be. It’s always too early to evaluate the Bills decisions if it’s negative. But zay Jones is a true #2 after one good game. As soon as it’s a proven mistake the homers say “let’s just move on! Stop living in the past!” apparently there must be a sweet spot where it’s ok to admit the Bills have made a mistake; after enough time has passed but not before too much time has passed.

Thats how all these homers are. They think any negative comment against Allen, McDermott or Beane is coming from the overreacting kneejerk crowd. I attempted to address your straw-man argument in my first reply. There is absolutely no comparison between Pedersen and McDermott when it comes to body of work, so you had to invent a stance that says the DIFFERENCE between last year and this year is the main reason anyone would want McDermott fired. Even if that were the case, McDermott's results have been worse both last year and this year.
